Spacious view apartment that is the ground floor of an occupied private home on quiet dead end street. Watch the ferries go by from the large private view patio with French doors. It's well known that summers in Seattle are incredible but fall and winter storms can be spectacular to watch from The Lookout as they forge their way across Puget Sound. With it's heated floors and covered patio The Lookout is the perfect place to cozy up and watch the Northwest seasons change.

It is a short walk from The Lookout to the following:
- Buses to downtown Seattle
(Easy access to stadiums/arena for Mariners, Sounders, Seahawks & Storm)
- 3 neighborhood restaurants/bakery
- Lincoln Park and outdoor saltwater pool (pool open Memorial Day to Labor Day only)
- Fauntleroy Ferry dock
- Local beach access

Also located in West Seattle within 5 miles of The Lookout:
- Alki Beach - A true beach community with beach volleyball, fire rings, restaurants, great people watching, a passenger ferry to downtown, and the best view of downtown in all Seattle.
- The Alaska Junction - A vast variety of restaurants, brew pubs, deli's, bakeries, and our own Easy Street Records (they sell vinyl and breakfast!)
- The Admiral Junction - Similar to the Alaska Junction but with a flavor all it's own. And a movie theater!
(FYI: these "junctions" are where SW Alaska Street and Admiral Way SW each cross the main West Seattle north-south street, California Ave SW. There is also the smaller, but closer Morgan Junction about 2 miles from The Lookout.)
- Westwood Village Shopping Center -1 mile from The Lookout with a variety of stores (Target, Marshall's), restaurants (Starbucks, Thai, Wings) and other stores for your convenience (QFC, Rite Aid Pharmacy).

There's a fair amount of noise when people are upstairs and walking around, but the view and accomodation are wonderful. It's an absolute zen moment after a rough day to sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and look out over Puget Sound and the snowcapped Olympic mountains.

What a wonderful find this was! Everything was as described, and the view was amazing. We enjoyed being out of all the hustle and bustle of downtown, but within a reasonable driving distance. Walkability is only for those who are very fit, though. The access information is very accurate, but do pay attention the details if you have mobility issues as it might be challenging. Having said that, we would stay again. I have fused ankles, so uneven ground, and stairs are always a challenge, but it was worth it!

This place is located walking distance to Lincoln Park and also a local restaurant and Market Place. You can sit and watch the sunset and the ferry’s cross the sound.It is small but has everything you’d want for stay.

My wife and I stayed for a week in this charming place in West Seattle in order to be close to our grandkids. The place is located in a super quiet and charming neighborhood. Amazing view and plenty of space for the two of us. Hosts are very responsive but experienced no issues at all with the clean and well appointed apartment.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. It was perfect for us. We were specifically looking for a place in West Seattle. You can walk to the Vashon Island ferry terminal from the apartment, and to Lincoln Park. It had everything we needed, including kitchen, eating area, laundry room. It is quiet, private, very clean, I loved the artistic touches, such as the four framed prints in the living room, the furniture, the warm polished cement floors that were very cozy on a cold winter day. We would defintely return when we're back in the area.

It was beautiful and peaceful. One note-my husband, who used to run a hardware store, says the wax ring around the toilet needs replacing. It leaked a little.But it was wonderful. We were there over Christmas, and it was such a pleasure to retreat to our peaceful place from the madness of family!

This space gave me a very cozy home away from home to be able to reflect and repair. Kristi and pat are very kind. Lovely smiles. Despite the weather... it was nice to be able to get to the water easily. I am a reamerging artist. The landscape is inspiring.

Tolle Lage mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Wenn man im dunklen ankommt wäre es besser Ausgeschildert auf dem Objekt gewesen. So mussten wir beim Untermieter klingeln. Was für uns aber kein Problem war.
