South Ballard location: WALK to all this popular area has to offer: QFC grocery, Olafs bar, Rupee restaurant, old town, Ballard Locks, espresso hang outs, and many popular restaurants and shops. FREE OFF STREET PARKING OFF THE ALLEY!
Quiet unit with all HEATED polished concrete FLOORS and two stylish bathrooms. Gourmet kitchen with gas range and stone counters. Eight foot ceilings throughout apartment. Master bedroom has king bed & its own bathroom with tile shower. Hall bathroom has shower. Hide-a-bed couch that is brand new and has fold out memory foam mattress. TV now new larger one. Apartment has had extensive soundproofing so you are comfortable. Owner is builder.

This part of Ballard is among the most peaceful yet close to the action of Ballard. We are west of 24th which is less busy than east of 24th. We are one house off of 28th, the boundary of all single family homes to the west, again a more relaxed area than to the east. You can easily walk to the Green Grocer, Olaf's, Rupee, Kimchi House, Samara & Piccolinos on 32nd-walk! and Copine (Michelin rated gourmet restaurant!) and the new gourmet place ADDO which are due east on 24th and 63rd. If you want a more extensive grocery selection hit QFC on 24th and 57th. Walkable! And just two more blocks is Market Street and Ballard Avenue, the main streets in Old Ballard. Ballard Ave. is one of the best streets in Seattle full of shops, restaurants and pubs! If you are in town on Sunday a must attend is the Ballard Sunday Market on Ballard Ave!

Please ask us for tips anytime for things to do in the area. We have been living and working in the area for decades and know every inch of Ballard and Seattle. Bobby's family has been in Seattle since about 1890!

Our host was accommodating (provided an early check-in). The space was roomy for a basement apartment. However, the place seemed tired and in need of updating. The mattress in the primary bedroom was very old and kind of falling apart. The sheets and pillows were definitely past their due by date. Nice crisp linens and comfortable pillows are a must for us when we stay somewhere so this was a bit of a disappointment.

Perfect for myself and my adult children. There of us stayed at the apartment to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from UDUB. The neighborhood was extremely walkable. We dined in the Ballard district each day we were there. So many options! And the water! It was fantastic out of the tap.

What a fabulous place! Everything was even better than described! Thanks! Only concern is that it is nearly impossible to see the keypad on the door in the afternoon/evening hours which makes entry very difficult. Amazing place otherwise!

Great location, comfortable stay!

My husband and I stayed here in June with another couple while visiting a friend who lives in Ballard. This was the perfect location and I would stay here again. The listing was accurate and looks just like the pictures. The beds were comfortable and the towels were a good quality. The kitchen had all the tools and appliances you would need to to cook for 4-6 people. There is also a really cute patio/garden area that was really pretty given that we visited at the start of summer. A parking space is right out front. We were able to walk to the Ballard Farmers Market and other shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Communication was quick and the owner was very responsive. Our friends who stayed there also mentioned that they really liked the space. The next time I visit Seattle, I would definitely stay here again!

Ballard Wedding

My husband and I rented the place for my son‘s wedding since we live roughly 50 miles away we had family from out of town staying in the area as well so it was a nice long weekend. Spent with family and friends. The unit was quiet, clean and well appointed, with a full kitchen two full bathrooms and two bedrooms …very comfortable amenities!
