"Inside property was clean but hallway was not so much due to seagulls and others, host could have been a bit quicker at responding. Location was very good though parking in front of property was based on first come first served but there was parking on the street which you had to pay for from 9am to 5:30pm. Bed was comfortable sofa was a two seater and very uncomfortable and wobbly. Luckily we didn’t have to spend too much time sitting on it as the tv didn’t work for the last day and a half."

"My wife and I stayed for two nights for our friends’ wedding in Whitley bay. Great seafront location and a lovely view. Perfect for our stay. Good communication from the host, easy to access, clean and nice apartment."

"Marley's retreat is a lovely snug apartment in a little village just outside Whitley Bay. The apartment is well catered and very dog friendly which was brilliant for us as a family of 4 plus 2 dogs. The village has 2 really lovely pubs, with good food options and the roaring open fire in the Old Fat Ox was very appreciated in the freezing temperatures we had when visiting. Max who owns the apartment and runs the shop just a few doors down was lovely and accomodating and happy to help with any...
