Welcome to 529 Cobby Creek, a stunning 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom vacation rental nestled in the serene Tarpon Pond neighborhood of Seabrook Island, Charleston, SC. This free-standing cottage has been thoughtfully renovated - fusing modern conveniences with southern charm. This spacious retreat comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, making it the perfect getaway for families or groups looking to unwind in a tranquil setting just a short distance from the beach and golf, the beach club, and dining at the Seabrook Island Club.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that blends coastal charm with modern comforts. The open-concept living area is designed for relaxation, featuring ample seating and large windows that fill the space with natural light. There are Pergo floors throughout the property, an ideal choice for beach living. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals, complete with modern appliances and plenty of counter space.

An enclosed porch area is another great spot to relax, unwind, or catch up on work remotely. The light and bright space features a large table (perfect for dining and gathering for board game night). Windows offer glimpses of the ancient oaks, palms, and island vegetation and wildlife.

Each of the four bedrooms offers a peaceful sanctuary, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure. The master suite offers a comfy king bed, elevated ceiling, and its own ensuite bathroom. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located off the hallway on the adjacent side of the living area. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed. Bedroom 3 has two sets of bunk beds (totaling 4 twin beds). Upstairs in the loft area, there is another queen bed and a room off the loft with another set of bunk beds.

Under the cottage is a patio area with a grill and an outdoor shower (great for returning from a day at the beach or crab docks). There is parking in the driveway and carport for your vehicles, LSVs, and bicycles.

The property is ideally located near a variety of attractions, including pristine beaches, scenic walking trails, and the marina and Freshfields Village are nearby. Kiawah Island, our neighboring island, is a short drive just minutes away. The vibrant culture of Charleston surrounds the area with historical tours, museums, farmers markets, farms, breweries, shopping, dining, and so much more.

LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. Beach towels are not included (although towel service is available at the Beach Club.)

WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know.

AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis and award-winning golf. Without this card, access is prohibited. Amenity Cards are INCLUDED with this rental (a $50 day savings). Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Beginning January 1, 2025, pre-order forms will be mandatory for all guests wishing to use the outdoor Lakehouse pool. Please ensure that your completed form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is now unable to accept information over the phone.

ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has now started charging a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a limit of 4 vehicle passes. This $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night – 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due one week prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided. Drivers may be required to show a valid Driver's license when at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) are unfortunately prohibited at the villa complex.

CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self check-in process. Guests will directly check-in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions

CLEANING: Our housekeeping teams are among the most detailed anywhere. Cleanliness is a hallmark of every stay. Our housekeeping teams are trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We launder the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.

THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.

IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.

PARTIES: THIS IS an ideal property for making memories but this is NOT A PARTY PROPERTY!!

This trip was alot of extra work just trying to make sure we could get into places. We will not return to Seabrook because of the difficulty planning this stay. We did not feel welcome to the club and the way they charged us for drinks etc. very expensive for what it actually was. The house was clean, smaller in person than the pictures showed but overall clean and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay on Seabrook Island. The location was perfect for our family vacation. It was great to have the amenity cards. We played golf, pickleball and utilized the pool and beach areas as well. It is such a beautiful island. We saw a lot of deer on the island and also the biggest spiders we’ve ever seen. Everyone in SC is so friendly too!
