Fabulous Country Escape in Stylish Guest House with Private Hiking and Hot Tub.

This beautiful Guest House is set on a large historic organic farm just one hour from Portland, Oregon. The property is surrounded by stunning landscaped grounds, mature trees and expansive lawns and gardens.

The home is tastefully decorated with an eclectic mix of original artwork and antiques. It is surprisingly spacious and equipped to a very high standard, including free high speed internet that allows guests to stay connected via their cell phone. We also offer High Speed Dish Internet access for guests who need to work remotely.

The property is located 15 minutes from the town of Silverton, and just over an hour from Portland, OR. It is an ideal place to call home or to tour wineries, hike to fantastic waterfalls, and enjoy the ultimate outdoor experience!

Guests will have everything they need for a relaxing family holiday or romantic getaway.

IMPORTANT: Please read the detailed description of this property to be sure it's a good fit for you and your group.

An Important Note to All our Guests:

My staff and myself go above and beyond to make sure everything is thoroughly cleaned! We wash off everything! Always have and always will... From light switches to all door handles, my staff and myself are diligent! So rest assured, our property with be professionally cleaned and sterilized from top to bottom for your comfort and safety!

IMPORTANT: Please note that there is an additional guest fee for groups larger than 4 guests. The rate is per-person for the total number of booked nights, NOT per night. Please be sure that you have listed the accurate number of guests. Infants and children count towards the total number of guests.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow guest to use the white sofa for sleeping. (You may incur an additional fee)!

We have horses, chickens, and a friendly dog. We are happy to show you the horses, but please do not allow the dog; Kona inside the home or open any gates or visit the horses unattended.

We have a strict non cigarette smoking policy. Due to the high fire risk cigarette smoking is NOT allowed anywhere on the property or surrounding areas.

We have a no shoes inside the home policy.

The Kitchen:
Guests will feel at home in the well equipped Gourmet Kitchen. The custom tile, marble countertops and Oak flooring throughout create a great space to cook a delicious family meal, or just hang out and enjoy the lovely views of the farm and pond from the kitchen window.

The Living Rooms:
There is a comfortable living room with a cozy down filled sectional sofa. TV/DVD player with a large collection of movies and lending library for your enjoyment.

*A separate family room creates an additional living space. Or a 3rd 'Bedroom' with a comfortable full sized Sleeping Sofa. It has access to the front porch with lovely views of the farm. An ideal place to sit and enjoy that early morning cup of coffee. Comes complete with fun board games, puzzles and a chess set.

Dining Room:
The gracious formal dining room has a large Refectory Table that seats up to eight guests. Ideal for hosting a dinner with family and friends in comfort and style!

Bedrooms:
The large Master Bedroom suite has a queen size bed with crisp cotton sheets, luxurious down comforters, pillows and a Wool Berber carpet. The master bath has a tub/shower. This stylish bedroom has access the deck and private Cedar Hot Tub through a French door.

*There is also an additional sleeping annex with 2 twin beds located off the master bedroom and is ideal for families.

The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed that is a handmade Luxury Mcroskey.

The 3rd' bedroom' is located in the front of the home.

Bathrooms:
The 2nd bathroom is conveniently located off the Laundry Room /Mudroom and has a large walk in shower. Host provides luxury style hotel amenities.

Outdoor Space:
French Doors open off the living room allowing guests to enjoy the private garden with custom deck and Private Cedar Hot tub! Comfortable patio table & chairs with propane BBQ and a view complete this wonderful space.

There are many interesting local attractions in and around Silverton.
The 'Trail of Ten Falls' at Silver Falls St. Park should not be missed!
And there are several excellent restaurants and brewpubs, great shopping, a delightful seasonal Saturday morning Farmers Market.

Girls getaway

Just the perfect place! We knew not to expect stellar internet/streaming. We weren’t there for that. Right?? Easy, super clean, comfy beds, nice amenities. Not too far from planned activities. It was just what we wanted and plan to return. Owner was personable and trusting. Lovely.

Best Stay Ever!

The owner met us at the door with specific instructions that were all helpful with an older home. It was clean, super cute and very very comfortable. We could have easily spent a week their with the location being ideal for the parks in the area.

Charming cottage

There is something special about this house. It is peaceful, cozy, and welcoming. We stayed 5 years ago and the kids never forgot it. All the details and added touches make this dreamy cottage a perfect place to let worries and stress melt away. Nearby Silver Falls is stunning

A great weekend away

We spent the weekend at Kristin's place on Crooked Finger Rd. It was a wonderful house with plenty of room and a fully stocked kitchen. We explored the town of Silverton, nearby, and hiked the Trail of Ten Falls in Silver Falls State Park - a beautiful hike! We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, nice place to stay. And hope to come back again :)

A perfect getaway near enough and far enough

This was probably one of the best VRBO experiences we have had. From start to finish Kristin was a genuine, hospitable host. She welcomed us with wine, cheese and crackers and introduced us to the nuances of the property (this was pretty necessary). She lives on the property but we in no way felt managed or intruded upon. In fact, I felt quite comforted by her presence there, as well as the adorable critters (horses, chickens and Kona, an equally hospitable pup!). The home was amazing and had everything we could have wanted. The kitchen was more than fully stocked. We were in town for a trail race at Silver Falls and it was quite comfortable to make the meals necessary in preparation. The entire place was just cozy and restful. Also, the hot tub! What a wonderful addition that was (and such a help to recovery!). We enjoyed exploring trails on the property, and basking in the beauty of nature there. Although it was an active weekend for us, we left feeling extremely refreshed. I was sad to leave. We are looking forward to future visits Kristin!

Amazing property.

This is a very well maintained and equipped house. Kristin, our wonderful host, was so kind. We were even greeted by cheese crackers wine and fruit. The house is gorgeous. Beautiful Guesthouse on farm

Beautiful guesthouse close to Silver Falls State Park. Bigger than expected, with all sorts of extras and personal touches. Kristen really has a knack for making a place feel like a home away from home. Keep in mind if you want a no contact, totally seperate, private home this is not it. But if you want a personalized stay on a working farm, you will love it. The wooden hot tub was a great addition.

A relaxing home to disconnect from everything

Kristen's home is comfortable, remote, spacious and a perfect place to enjoy life's pleasures away from distractions. She even has a few pets to complement your stay. We came to this part of Oregon to hike Silver Falls state park at leisure and not all on one day ~ we stayed a week. Some of our family also lives 20 miles away which made visiting them much easier. Kristen greeted us with a bottle of wine, cheese and crackers, apples and some fresh farm eggs in the kitchen that were all delicious ~ which was VERY gracious of her. The kitchen has every amenity you could want to cook. The gas bbq was clean and ready for our steaks. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were stocked with loads of toiletries. We did not use the hot tub and we barely use Wi-Fi while on vacation. This has to be one of the nicest VRBO homes we have stayed in since we started staying in rentals 10 years ago. The only negative we can think of is you have to drive any and everywhere from this locale. Google maps will get you here with no problem.

Unique experience

This home was incredibly clean and very cozy. The kitchen was very well equipped with great views of the woods. Meeting with the host at check in can sometimes be a bit stressful but Kristin made us feel very welcome including welcome snacks and fresh eggs. Lot's to explore in the area but hard to leave this property.

Silver Falls and Wine country

We picked this spot for its proximity to Silver Falls State park and wine country. The property manager greeted us personally and gave us a tour first thing. The home itself is charming with the most amazing kitchen which had everything you might need to make a meal or two. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in a truly lovely part of Oregon. Thank you!

Best stay in a long, long time!

We are 4 school friends in our early 70s, who have spent long weekends annually for the past 30 years. This house was the most comfortable with best equipped & spacious kitchen. Great linens, lots of room, beautiful setting (we were able to see the eclipse “ring of fire” & close enough to a cute town with shops & lots of restaurants. We had a lovely time & highly recommend this great VRBO experience!

Nice Quiet Get Away

Great little country house in a serene setting. Home is well appointed and hosts were a delight. Kona welcomed us each morning and the horses were beautiful. I wish we had planned more time at the house to enjoy the property.

ALL the STARS!

This place is infused with charm. One of the most lovely family friendly stays we’ve ever experienced—and we’re world travelers! Delightful Country Retreat

This house was great for our group of three women. The host was gracious and provided some lovely welcome treats when we arrived. And the kitchen was incredibly well stocked! We enjoyed wandering around the property to pet the horses and sitting on the patio. We took day trips to Silver Falls, Mac's in Silverton for lunch, and Baumans Farm. It was delightful. The host was available if we had any questions and we enjoyed chatting with her. It was nice!

Fun farm stay

The grounds were lovely and our daughter really enjoyed the farm critters. Everything was very clean. There was a door in the master bedroom to the back deck that only had a sheer see-through curtain so someone could look in the bedroom from the back deck and there was no way to cover it. We wished that there had been a covering for privacy. Also they do not give you any keys so there's no way to lock up when you leave. I do understand that it's a low crime area which is great but we didn't like that we didn't have the choice to lock while we were gone.

Amazing property, better than the listing!

We loved every minute of our stay here! The host, chickens, horses, peacock, cat and dog added to the amazing views and super plush home. The kitchen is fantastic, beds were super comfy, fire pit with Adirondack seats, and the hot tub was just what we needed after a sweet 10 mile hike at Silver Falls State Park, an easy 25 minute drive from the property. We have already decided that we will return!

Everything you need for a relaxing getaway

I took my 14yr old daughter, sister, her husband, and 10 and 6 yr old nephews. The kids loved playing chess, visiting with the animals, and hanging out in the hot tub. The adults loved sitting on the deck or in the hot tub, going on hikes and walking around the farm. It was very relaxing and there was plenty of room. Kristin was lovely and easy to get ahold of. Wonderful trip!
