"We booked this a couple of hours before we arrived as we are driving to France. This has to be one of the best stays we've had in any hotel. The village itself is gorgeous and very quaint. The hotel is immaculate and full of character and charm. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The spa was unexpected and we had it all to ourselves. "This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. "

"취리히 호텔이 너무 비싸서 바로 렌트카 빌려서 여기로 왔는데 너무 만족했어요. 호텔 앞 호수도 예쁘고 생긴지 얼마 안됐는지 무척 깨끗하고 시설도 좋습니다. 방 구조가 호스텔 같은 느낌이었는데 재밌기도 하고 가족들이랑 각자 침대사용하니 좋았어요. 아침도 간단하지만 딱 먹을 것만 있는 느낌입니다. 리기산 올라가는 알트고다우 역이 차로 5분 거리라 체크인하고 바로 가기 좋아요!"

"We've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Grandhotel Giessbach and wow, what a place! The hotel is certainly grand and is located in the most beautiful location I've ever seen, overlooking Lake Brienz with the Giessbach falls only metres away! The staff were all very pleasant, the breakfast was great, the bar was lovely, the Les Cascades restaurant was lovely, the surrounding park and trails were truly beautiful! However, my only complaint is that we had to pay 15CHF per night for parking....
