The newly renovated apartment is located in the Holm Vacation Center. It’s about 1,000 meters to “Kalifornien” Beach, a walk that takes less than 10 minutes.

The elevator takes you to the fifth floor—no need to climb stairs with your suitcases or bags—so your vacation gets off to a great start. A short walk down the hallway and you’ll find yourself in front of Apartment 512, a vacation rental measuring about 40 square meters.

Open the door and step inside—a newly furnished, small kitchen with a ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster is on your right. The cabinet contains plenty of cutlery and dishes.

To your left is the spacious bathroom. The shower has a threshold that’s only about 10 cm high, so you can step into it comfortably.
A cabinet for your personal items is also available, as is a hair dryer. You can wash your vacation laundry for free in the washing machine.

A little further on, you’ll find yourself in the light-filled living room with its comfortable couch. And on rainy days, the 43-inch LCD TV with cable is at your disposal.
You can also read a book you’ve brought along or one of the books provided.

Once the balcony door is open, it won’t be long before the call of the seagulls puts you in that vacation mood. If you look slightly to the left, you can see the Baltic Sea above the treetops. From morning until noon, the sun shines on the large balcony. A breakfast in the sunshine is sure to lift your spirits.

And if you’d like to have breakfast “out and about,” you have a choice: either in the town of Kalifornien (approx. 800 meters) or at Café Klönschnack, right next to the Ostseeklinik (approx. 200 meters).

And when night falls, make yourself comfortable in the bedroom’s double bed (140 cm x 200 cm). You can store your clothes in a spacious closet. Through a large window leading to the living room, you can enjoy the sunshine even from the bedroom.

There is a lockable basement for bicycles or other items you bring with you. You’ll find a bike rental service near the beach.
You can park your car for free in the parking lot across the street.

By bus—the bus stop is not far away—you can reach downtown Kiel within 50 minutes.

Note: Currently, there is NO Wi-Fi available in this property.

In addition to the rental price, a visitor’s tax is charged. For guests 18 years of age and older, this tax ranges from €1.50 (March 15–April 30 and October 1–October 31) to €3.00 (May 1–September 30) per person per night.
We will invoice this separately after booking and forward the payment to the municipality.
In return, you will receive the OstseeCard, which allows you to use the beach as well as some public transportation and enjoy other discounts.
