Si trova ad un passo dal centro del paese di fronte ( se davanti non c'è posto per l'auto) c'è un vasto parcheggio gratuito e anche dietro all'albergo è vicinissimo una deliziosa pizzeria Valido

Extremely helpful owner

The owner/manager, was extremely helpful, on Sunday there were no taxi to pick up my brother from the station, he sent someone and refused to take money, just a word of advice no taxi working on Sunday, so be prepared

Clean, basic hotel.

The Piccolo Chalet is a decent hotel which is a short walk, albeit uphill, to the town centre, and then further uphill to the Clotes lift. Noise carries in the corridors so if you are coming in late your neighbours will probably hear. The rooms are basic but are kept clean. Fairly good selection of food for breakfast. One coffee machine which makes good coffee but is slow so you may have to wait. Equipment storage in the basement but you may find somewhere closer to the slopes for that. Showers were cold two days running. The first time was fixed within 40 mins and assured it wouldn't happen again - which it did the very next night. This time fixed in 30 minutes but each time involved a phone call and someone not in the building having to come and "reset the boiler". I was annoyed at the time but Alexandra and Stephano were quite helpful so I can forgive them. Still...

Comfortable Hotel, Great Value

For the price we were expecting fairly basic facilities but the hotel was clean warm and comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was good and the location was only 200m from the village centre.

Fabulous little hotel, perfect for the budget

This was an excellent place to stay and exactly what I wanted - somewhere cheap to stay whilst skiing. Having read some old reviews I had low expectations, although the reviews from this year seemed better. I was very pleasantly surprised - the room was of a decent size (although I got a room with a double and a single in it just for me) and the bathroom was great (but no bath, as expected). The hot water worked - it just took a few moments to come on. The beds are uncomfortable (camp beds and actually I think my double was just two camp beds with a double sheet over the top). The stairway echoed so I was up quite a bit when others returned to their rooms and my window looked out onto the main road, where the transfer coaches arrived/departed at 5 and 6 a.m. (only on one day). It is a 5-10 minute uphill walk to the pistes - apparently there is a bus but I didn't see it and I enjoyed the morning warm up...much preferring the downhill walk at the end of the day - you pribably wouldn't want to do this with children, but you are able to hire lockers by the piste to store skis and books, making the walk a lot easier. I didn't. And if you get the bus to Montgeneve, or anywhere else the bus stop is just 50 yards from the hotel door. Alexandra, the manager, speaks very good English and was extremely friendly. Breakfast was available for 5 euros and just as good as any other resort hotels.

Decent hotel and close to the village

It's a very clean and warm B&B and is close to the center of the village. There is a complimentary shuttel bus that takes you into the villaage and to the ski slope. If you decide to walk into the village, it will only take between 5-7 mins.

Basic hotel, bad service

My friends and I were looking for a cheapish hotel near the ski lift - for that, this hotel was okay. You do get what you pay for - no lift, no breakfast option, no welcoming service. The customer service of this hotel was probably the worst thing about it. Reception wasn't open when it should have been (which meant we had to wait a while outside), the receptionist forgot our email correspondence and nearly didn't let one of my friends stay (I had to show her our emails to remind her) saying that there was no room...when there clearly was. The main thing that lets this place down is the fact that the people manning it don't appear to want your custom, it's like they're doing YOU a favour by letting you stay there. We were also woken up at 8 AM on the day of check out because the lady wanted us to pay as she wanted to leave...she did say we could leave whenever we wanted but it was a bit of an inconvenience...she gave us 5 mins to go down and pay after waking us up. To summarise: Fine if you are looking for a cheap hotel near the slopes (it's about a 10-15 min walk) but don't expect any service.... Would I stay there again? ... Only if I had to.

pensavo fosse un hotel e non un affitta camere, arriviamo e sulla porta c'è scritto reception attiva 10,00 -12,00 e 14,00 16,00 erano le 15,40 ho telefonato e abbiamo atteso che la signora arrivasse, la struttura è piuttosto dimessa, mobili vecchi, nella nostra camere non erano neanche presenti le abatjour sui comodini. prima mattina acqua fredda... che dire NON penso di tornarci

Great budget place to stay, can be a little noisy!

Clean room, staff make the beds every day, and did a good job. Nobody present at reception apart from when we arrived. There is no option for breakfast. Bed was comfortable, and ski storage was great. The stairs really echo when people come up and down, and there were some very inconsiderate people in the middle of the night, and first thing In the morning who were not even attempting to be quiet! This of course is not the hotels fault, but the noise really travels in this hotel - take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! The slopes were excellent and the bus drivers were brilliant, even dropped us off right outside the door. The bus isn't that regular so you do have to wait a bit, but it is free so you can't really complain!

God til prisen

Fint lille sted til dem, der blot skal bruge et sted at overnatte, og få et bad efter lang dag på ski. Hotellet er meget lydt, men med ørepropper gik det fint. Komfortabel seng og hovedpude - rene håndklæder hver dag. Få minutter til byen, og lige ved gratisbussen, der kører til lifterne. Vi ankom udenfor receptionens åbningstid, men ringede ved ankomst, hvor der gik 5 min, også kom der en sød dame, som tog imod og checkede os ind. Alt i alt et fint sted til prisen.

great travel service to the slopes poor residence!

Turned up to the hotel and had to call to be able to access the accomodation. Upon arrival all I saw of staff was for 2 minutes whilst my key was given and told what room I was in. No welcoming me or showing me to my room. Read there was a surcharge for breakfast but upon arrival asked and was told no food provided. Beds need replacing as could feel each spring in my back and shower was tiny with a tiny tray and flooded floor. Overall wouldn't stay again.

Расположение удачное,рядом с остановкой ski bus,все в пешей доступности,пешком до подъемника в гору,через центр города 15 мин.Всегда свободная частная бесплатная парковка.wifi нет.Сервис как таковой отсутствует,на ресепшн никогда никого нет,связь только по мобильному телефону,хотя реагируют быстро.каждый день заправляют постели и меняют полотенца,но туалетную бумагу,шампунь и др.надо выпрашивать по телефону или ловить горничную,которая бывает раз в сутки.Ужасающие матрасы.Больше похоже на апартаменты, хотя позиционирует себя как отель.Но цена-качество соответствует.

Albergo al limite della sufficienza

C'era scritto colazione inclusa ma alla fine non c'era.. Brandine del letto sfondate quindi zero comfort durante la notte.. No wifi.. Durante la doccia il bagno si allagava sempre. Parcheggio incluso alla fine erano 4 posti macchina.. Voto 5

Ingen faciliteter på hotellet som f.eks WIFI, safety boks, skikælder eller lign. og meget begrænset receptions service, men en rigtigt god sammenhæng mellem pris/kvalitet. Værelset er fint stort men er slidt. Hvis man er på ski er det første skistop på ruten lige ved hotellet. 7 min gåafstand til centrum med barer, butikker og restauranter samt 15 min til Clotes liften.

Super Chalet til prisen

Super comfort til den rimelig pris, et godt valg til dig der skal på ski og blot skal have et værelse med god seng og rent badeværelse. Skibus lige til højre for hotel (20m) og der er altid plads i bussen da det er første stop på turen. Der er 3 min gang til byens centrum, så hvis man er endt på afterski er det muligt at gå tilbage med ski og støvler. Alternativt valg i byen er Hotel Bosco som ligger lidt oppe fra byen med tilbyder fri schuttle til/fra liften og ned til byen hvis du skal ud og spisen og henter dig hjem igen.
