There were children running around unattended all evening. Unsupervised in the pool, locking each other outside the pool area (it was below freezing), playing on equipment in wet bathing suits, leaving trash in areas such as pool/gym. There were multiple groups of them running through hallways. “Quiet hours” are 10pm and they were still running through hallways at 10:30pm. Even 10pm feels really late for that type of unnecessary noise when you consider other guests may have small children or early mornings. That isn’t so much on the hotel as it is the extremely rude and entitled parents who don’t bother to teach their children respect for anyone else.
The breakfast didn’t start until 7 and we had to leave by 6:45 so we weren’t able to eat. Other hotels usually have breakfast available earlier. The hot tub was not hot….it was about the same as being in a bath tub. There was no chemical smell to the pool area at all which felt a little sketchy. There was also next to no options for food (usually can find vending machines or a small “store” area on site. We bought “fresh” food in the lobby (there were like 2 things prepped and some slices of dessert). There was no juice for my younger kids just soda, water, and tea. For a small salad, water, and soda I paid $20.
The room seemed clean and was a decent size for the price. The hotel was conveniently located and easier to get to than others in the area.
