Beautifully elegant suite designed specifically for the relaxing and quiet get away that epitomizes a great vacation. Free parking, wifi, and streaming services are all provided. A microwave, toaster, fridge, and coffee maker are also included. Riverside Oasis is located right next to the river leading into Whitaker Bayou for a tranquil and relaxing getaway.

Come relax in the epitome of tranquility in this completely renovated guest suite located right in the center of one the most peaceful neighborhoods in Sarasota.

Our lovely suite is located at the end of a quiet and peaceful road with your morning view being the sun rising on Whitaker River. Despite the seclusion, Riverside Oasis is MINUTES away from Downtown Sarasota and the nicest beaches in the county; Siesta Key and Lido Key.

Riverside Oasis boasts a stylish space complete with full renovations on the entire space and entrance. The space has been designed specifically for your comfort and tranquility. The space is designed for the perfect getaway for one to two guests to come relax in one of the nicest cities in all of the U.S.

Along with a great view you can also expect kitchen amenities such a coffee maker, toaster, and refrigerator to be used to your heart`s content.

A Roku TV is also provided that comes with Sling TV, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. These are all for you!


Riverside Oasis is a guest suite that is attached to a duplex. You have total privacy while in your suite as there is no access between the two units inside. Your entrance and parking are private and for your use only.

We are located a short two minute drive from your suite. We give you complete privacy through your stay but we are easily reachable for any questions or help.

Bayou Oaks is known as one of the most tranquil neighborhoods in Sarasota. The suite is situated at the very end of a street that has undergone massive changes over the past 5 years. Being located right next to the main campus of Ringling College you may find the neighborhood almost as if you are within the campus itself!

The scenery of the street is reminiscent of a forest with large overhanging trees casting peaceful shadows over the street. The neighbors are friendly and very respectful. You can expect complete and total privacy during your stay and also a wonderful morning view as the sun rises to shine on the bayou river just outside your window!

You will love your personal view of the river that feeds the Whitaker Bayou!


Not only is Bayou Oaks a peaceful neighborhood but it is also right next to Downtown Sarasota where all the fun is! A quick 5minute drive from Riverside Oasis and you are in the middle of downtown with all the restaurants and entertainment you could want. And when it`s time to relax you can be assured of the peace you deserve at Riverside Oasis.

Driving is almost mandatory through all of Sarasota.

I don't think you can improve this. There was no kitchen sink. I would have liked instructions on the a/c unit. We practically froze to death, the temp was so low. I didn't want to mess with it, not knowing what I was doing.. the main couch was very uncomfortable. You sat on it and you could feel the boards under the cushions. No, we are not over weight. 145 and 120lb. If there had been a small broom to sweep the floor with it would have been nice. Other than that, we really enjoyed the area around us.

This place was so perfect ! Very clean, cute, and provides all the essentials needed . I really loved the location in a quant neighborhood close to the ringling school of art and many hidden gems . The neighborhood and home is very quiet and has so many beautiful trees and plants that surround it . I flew into to spread my Dads ashes at a few nearby spots . The host was very gracious at providing an easy check in and out time which made the visit very smooth.Thank you again !!

Overall impression of the property was fine. I was surprised when I realized there was not a kitchen. I don’t think the ad says there is but when toaster, microwave and coffee maker was stated I assumed so that is my own issue. Comfort is huge so I wanted to add that maybe it can be stated that although there IS AC, stating that it Is not central air would be better. State that your AC mini split only cools one room. For a two bedroom place, there’d be no way anyone could sleep in the other room with only a ceiling fan. Luckily it was just a party of two for us but in the event someone has a kiddo that could be rough. Again, nice area, I’m appreciative I just don’t think I would have booked if I knew it was a mini split. Especially this time of year.

Amazing place to stay

The host was very polished and always willing to help, very easy check in and check out. It honestly surprised me how easy the process was. Very clean and towels and chairs were provided along with shampoo and soap. If we needed anything it was taken care of right then. This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had out of all the places I have stayed. I recommend this property for everyone, if you have a large family that can be accommodated as well just speak with the host and they will help you 100%.

This small apartment was in a residential neighborhood that was nice and quiet at night! It was a short Uber drive away to downtown. There was no kitchen, which was fine for my short stay. It was a lovely experience overall and the host was incredibly communicative!

This cozy place was perfect for a getaway to Sarasota. It’s close to everything and in a quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive. The place is clean and nicely decorated. It was well supplied for my needs. I would stay again.

The space was clean and well decorated. The bed was comfortable but small. I didn’t love the curtains on the glass door. They are too small and do not completely cover the door. While the room was very clean, the cleaners had used strong bleach and the smell was over powering. The space is cozy for two people and on a quiet street. It is near town and convenient to local businesses. Overall it was very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay, neighborhood was quiet, location was excellent, surrounding were beautiful. It was a little smaller than we expected, the pictures shown actually have the bed and living area switched and the couch was not very comfortable, but it worked for us and host was very accommodating. We would stay here again.
