Right in the Rosemary District/Gillespie Park, this bright and spacious private home is a 10 minute drive to Lido Beaches and within walking distance to downtown shops, grocery, farmer's market, opera house, restaurants, bars, live music, tennis courts, parks, antique shops and performing arts centers. Old Florida bungalow on the outside, inside it's a recent remodel with new appliances, kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and fixtures. A banyan tree behind the home offers private, shady repose on the fenced-in deck where you can enjoy the grill and dining area.

Great location and overall experience

The house was just as described and was a comfortable place for us to stay for a few nights. We enjoyed the location -- easily walkable to downtown and not a far drive to the beach. Kim communicated promptly. Would recommend!

Downtown Sarasota house

Very clean , nicely organized house near downtown. I liked the tropical decor as well as the bird prints. Six block walk to water & opera house. Comfortable beds and nicely stocked kitchen. One block from best breakfast house. Also close to a German restaurant, but we did not eat there. Cozy backyard table to sit while enjoying the evening.

Quick trip for weekend wedding

Great location and easy access to the beach! Kim was a great communicator, responsive and flexible. We were there only a short but the kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Overall a good experience!

Very enjoyable stay!

Adorable house in a convenient location! It felt much more spacious than the square footage listed. We were able to walk to some good restaurants and it was just a 10 minute drive to Lido beach and 15 minutes to Siesta Key. We appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs that were provided. Comfortable beds and house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Sarasota for a day, The place was amazing we loved the German restaurant right next to the house we also love the breakfast place right next to the house. Beautiful trees, and beautiful Decour. The double shower was a super bonus. Thank you so much we would definitely return Robert Tyrrell

Great spot for a quick stay

Kim was very responsive before and during our stay for anything we needed. She kept me updated on whether we could check in a little bit early because we had a wedding to get to and it ended up working out great. The house was lovely and clean and the beds were so comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay!

The home was very clean with super comfy beds which is very important to us when staying away. We were only about 10 minutes to Lido beach and lots of great restaurants all around us. The breakfast House is right across the street and was fabulous! The home owner was easy to get in touch with and really thought of everything for a family stay including DVD’s, books and games for the kiddos. We will definitely return!

The residence is neat, clean, and comfortable. The location is downtown, but has off-street parking. Many additional features...large television, laundry, dishwasher, and beach towels.

The best house we ever rented

The house had everything we needed and even more. The book selection was perfect for my bookworm daughters and we had endless fun with the little tonka truck. The kitchen was very well equipped with pans that are actually in good condition (which is rarely the case in my experience). The location couldn’t have been better - the nearby German brewhouse was the best! Kim was very helpful and responsive - we ran out of dishwasher detergent and she provided it in no time. We loved everything about this property and would love to stay again!

Close to Down Town Sarasota

We enjoyed our stay in Sarasota very much. The house is walking distance from Down Town and restaurants and to Gillespie Park, which has Tennis courts. Our host was very responsive and actually gave us a small gift.

Great Time In Gillespie Park (Sarasota)

The place was exactly as described. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and a short walk downtown. Lido Beach was a 10 minute drive and Siesta Key was a 20 minute drive. Gillespie Park was the perfect getaway for me, my cousin and our kids after weeks of quarantine in Orlando. Kim, was great, she communicated often and made the trip to her place, simple and easy! I highly recommend Kim and her place in Gillespie Park for anyone headed to Sarasota. We'll be back soon!

Comfortable place for two couples

As promised, this house delivered. Spacious common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. Great place to hang out. The back yard deck was private and quiet. We’d stay here again.

Kim's property was great! Exactly how it was represented on the VRBO site. She was very communicative... answered questions immediately. Her place was clean , nicely furnished and it was in a great location. We would stay there again, for sure.

Live Like a Local

Walking distance to the downtown area made it easy for our young adult children to access as my husband and I drove around running errands. Whole Foods and farmer's market is nearby as well. 15 minutes to Siesta Key Beach. We are a family of 6 and the house is SUPER comfortable for all of us, plus comes complete with beach towels, nice for airplane travelers. The double master shower has phenomenal shower pressure, a definite bonus. We will stay again and highly recommend to others!!!

Cute and convenient

Kim’s little bungalow was the perfect spot for Sarasota exploration. It is right in the middle of everything, extremely close to both downtown and the beach, and Kim was an excellent host, sending me oodles if recommendations for my family before we even checked in. And her recos were spot-on! Owen’s Fish Camp was as delicious as it was cute, and the Ringling property is awe-inspiring (two of her recommendations). I would totally stay here again!
