"Touring Portugal with my elderly mother is difficult with all the cobblestone roads but this hotel was kind enough to loan us a wheelchair to help make it easier for us to explore nearby places. Do not leave without doing one of the boat tours. The smaller the better to go into the caves!"

"El hotel Marina Rio está recientemente reformado y tiene instalaciones amplias y muy limpias. Las habitaciones son cómodas, todas ellas con balcón. Hay piscina y solarium en la cuarta planta. "Fantastic hotel. Location can’t be beat. The pool has a stunning view. Breakfast was truly phenomenal (maybe the best I’ve ever had??) and all the staff were really lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable.
My one “complaint” is that the bathroom/shower lacked privacy and felt oddly placed. We also had very little room to move/ storage options with just two carry ons and two backpacks.
Would still stay there again in a heartbeat! Very satisfied."

"A nice place. Relatively close to the Lagos centre, maybe a 15 minute walk.
There is parking, but it's a bit of a tight squeeze. We ended up parking elsewhere in the area because getting the car in and out was a hassle with a rental.
Big balcony area. Updated kitchen. Access to the pool, but we did not end up using it.
The company provided a lot of helpful information during check-in, with lots of videos. This was helpful in actually getting into the building."

"I liked that it was close enough to the downtown part of Lagos. I didn't care for the cottage much. We booked it since the rate was good and it had a stove. Turns out, the stove didn't really work. It had one weak burner you couldn't do much with. We contacted the management company and there was zero response. "the apartment is dirty. we came to check-in at 4 p.m. and the cleaning lady was still there. we had to wait 1 hour on the terrace before entering the apartment. the toilet was leaking and it was very small. poorly designed. I advise against staying there."

"I drove up to the beach and saw this hotel. Its in an absolute perfect location. I first booked 1 night and booked 2 more after. A few restaurants around, plenty of parking. John at the front desk was great! I would stay in this hotel again."

"We love off the beaten path places to stay. This place was lovely right next to a nature preserve with a gorgeous view of the cliffs on the ocean. The beach is not easily accessible. The staff is what really made the place stand out. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and give us suggestions for restaurants and excursions. I would highly recommend."
