Once we were there she offered to arrange tours, suggest dining places and made reservations for us. She did everything she could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. "It can be a little intimidating coming to a new country so it was a relief that our hosts were bilingual and extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. We were in the Galápagos for 10 days and had done no pre planning. No worries there because Donna got right to work setting up wonderful excursions to remote islands and even had snorkeling gear to lone to us. "This place deserves more than 5 stars! Quiet location close to Tortuga and just a 10-minute walk to Darwin Street. We were welcomed with cool towels and mint tea, and every detail was perfect. There was plenty of filtered water and the washing machine was a bonus. In terms of negatives: - No WiFi (but the host was clear about this from the beginning) - No mirrors over sinks (had to use our phone’s camera to shave) - Dogs barking at night - No hot water in the morning - No address - difficult to explain...

"Great location in Puerto Ayora! Very close to the ferry terminal and proinsular market which had everything we needed. This was the end of our trip and we were thrilled with the huge kitchen and great room for homemade family dinners. We could walk to the Darwin Research Center and the walking trail that leads to Playa Tortuga Bay. Morning coffee on the rooftop was a wonderful way to start the day. "
