Girl's Beach Trip

Mom weekend getaway. There were six of us and we had a great time. Everything is very close and the area is easy to navigate. I think my only complaint is the vacuum didn't work. We did our very best not to track sand in, but with us being at the beach, that's nearly impossible. We ended up just using a broom, but a vacuum would have been nice a lot more convenient. It still gets 5 stars from me though!

Nice place but very unhappy with management- spend your money elsewhere

Upon arrival, I asked if the golf cart would be available while we were there and I was told it would be. We arrived Saturday evening and the internet was out, I contacted management Saturday night, figuring I would not get a response because of how late it was, which was fine. I called Sunday morning asking about it and they told me they would send a maintenance person out- he did not show up until Monday and was unable to fix anything. Sunday morning we went to the pool and was given the wrong pool code information before our arrival and had to get it from someone in the neighborhood. Also, to find out that the golf cart was unavailable while we stayed there as well. Even though I was told it would be. I called multiple times between Sunday and Wednesday about the internet issue and was told it was out of their control and could not do anything about it. I even went above and beyond calling the Internet provider(s) yes, two because I was told two different companies serviced the area, to try and get some help. Wednesday afternoon someone from the property management brought a hotspot for us to use, which was still lagging but it did work for the last day and half we were there. After our departure Friday morning, we did all the requests that were asked of us and I received a call asking where we put the hotspot, as if we did not leave it behind. Very unhappy.

Great place and location

Great place and updated. The location is great as well. Close to restaurants but still a bit quieter than a lot of places we have stayed on 30A. The golf cart was really nice and super convenient! We didn’t use our car the entire stay! The beach access and plenty of restaurants are just a short drive on golf cart! My only complaint would be that the pool was on the smaller size and the rug in the living room seemed a bit dirty upon on arrival. But overall we would definitely stay again! Owners were quick to respond to any questions we had as well!

Stay at Santa Rosa Beach

The property was great. Only has a few issues… WiFi never worked at the unit. There was a nail sticking out of the wood in the kitchen. Safely would be an issue if we had our little ones with us. The beds were so so comfy! The unit was clean and the welcome package with the shampoos, aloe, etc was a very nice touch! The beach necessities were perfect for my husband and I . If you have more than two people in your party you would need to bring/buy more chairs or beach supplies. Overall, it was a fabulous stay!

Shore Bird Stay

Love this condo. The golf cart was such a plus. It is THE way to travel in this area. This is the fanciest golf cart I have ever seen. In case you are hesitant about it, it has seatbelts, headlights and blinkers just like a car. I felt pretty safe letting the girls go to the beach or to the convenience store alone. The only drawback for our stay was the weather. It was beautiful weather but with double red flags on the beach. That means that you cannot get in the water at all. You cannot even walk on the wet sand. Who knew? Be sure to eat at Stinky's. I recommend the Crawfish Pie.

Beach is not close

Several issues on our stay: 1.Could not get in @ 4 pm 2. Random lady (Ginger) came by to clean @ 4:30 pm no cleaning supplies. 3. Coffee Pot not cleaned or emptied. 4. Light switches not cleaned or wiped down 5. Left front burner not working 6 Trash (qtip) on wall 7 Broken towel holder 8. Received call and text accusing us of having a animal. That barked all day and night for 2 days. We didn’t have a pet. 9. Golf cart!!! Not even enough speed to travel on the road. Unsafe. Need more power considering it is a 6 seater. I did photograph these issues. The home is gorgeous, just too many disappointing factors for us.
