Quiet retreat near Plaza

Charming, historic casita in the heart of old Santa Fe. This casita boasts all of the Santa Fe touches, including kiva fireplace, hand-troweled plaster walls, wood ceilings, and local art -- all combined with modern conveniences including air conditioning, combo washer/dryer, and a new kitchen.

The ample living and outdoor spaces also make this casita unique. Sitting on the front porch gives you a view over the garden and makes you feel a part of the quaint Don Gaspar neighborhood, while the secluded back patio is the perfect place to decompress. When you are ready to venture out, the famous Santa Fe Plaza is only seven short blocks away and the State Capitol is only one block away. The owner, a Santa Fe native, lives just across the street and is happy to share insider tips or let you enjoy your privacy.

This rental is one-half of a historic, single-level duplex, but is quite private. Nether the living room, nor either of the bedrooms share walls with neighbors.

This is a NO-PET/NON-SMOKING property.

This is perfect size for 2-4 guest(we had 3). The neighborhood was quiet and it’s close to the Plaza and the Rail Yard. The wood burning fireplace was a definite plus on cool fall evenings.

Fantastic location, property and manager!

Wonderful property that was large, clean and comfortable. Great location to old Santa Fe and great art throughout the home. Nice fireplace for the cold nights, and the property manager was super helpful in providing wood to us. Would stay again!

We liked the house very much. It fit our needs perfectly. We've rented in South Capitol for several years to avoid driving back and forth to ABQ after concerts. We managed to squeez in five-Chamber Music Festival and Desert Chorale! We admired the diamond plaster finish on the walls and appreciated the dimmers. The overhead lights were a bit too plentiful. We prefer indirect lighting.

Santa Fe Get Away

The house is beautiful, so comfortable and the perfect location. Even though it is within walking distance to the downtown plaza, the area is so quiet!! We loved every minute of our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Santa Fe.

Perfect location, amazing host

The property was generously appointed and perfect for our family of 4. It was an easy walk to the plaza and an easy drive to other attractions around town including Meow Wolf, hiking and Canyon Road. The host was more than generous with his accessibility and assistance during our stay. I would absolutely stay there again!
