We absolutely loved Riu Guanacaste. We travelled March 28 - April 4 2026. 4 adults and 1 child. The resort was very clean everywhere you went - there was always staff cleaning the bathrooms, floors, restaurants. Pools were clean. The resort is fully updated and beautiful. Absolutely LOVED this place, the pool and even the room have a special place in my heart now. One negative is that at night there were these giant ants but once we sprayed Raid they were gone and all was well. I would definitely come back to Tamarindo just for this room
