Stunning sunsets, turtle watching, longtails wheeling and glow worms ....

  • Sunset Studio is located on the western edge of Sugar Cane Beach looking out across Mangrove Bay towards the west. It is the sister cottage to Sugar Cane Cottage (www.vrbo.com/3685978), which is located at the other end of Sugar Cane Beach. It is 10 minutes from Dockyard and 15 minutes from the main beaches.

    It is a single room studio unit with a loft space for sleeping, modelled on the tiny house concept. There is a full king sized bed in the loft area, together with small built in closets either side of the bed. The living area comprises a corner sofa unit that can convert to 2 single beds. The kitchenette is a very compact “galley” style kitchen that has a full stove, under counter fridge/freezer, toaster & electric kettle. Flat screen TV in lounge and loft area with fire tv and firestick, internet access, air-conditioning throughout. The bathroom has a large shower.

    The unit has direct access to our beach and there are also stairs leading to the waters of Mangrove Bay on the northern boundary. The patio area overlooks Mangrove Bay on the Northern side of the unit. On the Southern side will be a sheltered garden with a bar-b-que area (once the landscaping is finished).

    The exterior of the unit is designed to resemble the wooden cottages built in Somerset in the late 19th – early 20th Centuries, by West Indian workers who were brought to the Island to work at Dockyard.     Please note the loft area is accessed by a compact staircase and may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues.

Fun place to stay for swimming and sun tanning. Great sunsets and a place that's tuned in for a great outdoors experience. Quite at night and comfortable sleeping.

The cottage is perfect! We had an amazing stay. Convenience of transit, snorkeling off your own private beach and all the amenities provided make this a perfect spot for a couple or a small family holiday.

This place is absolutely amazing. Christine, our host, is lovely and was so helpful and accommodating with everything. This was my wife’s first trip to Bermuda and I think I completely spoiled her with this place. Thank you, Christine for a wonderful 9 days in paradise.

This was a perfect place for a week in Bermuda. Bus stop across the street, beach access and we loved the kayak available to guests. The host is quick to reply to questions and the house has everything you need. What it lacks in luxury it makes up in location. We watched many sunsets and even enjoyed a rainbow that greeted us on our first night. We definitely plan to return in the future.

My wife and I had a lovely stay in Bermuda at Christine's cottage. The location was perfect for exploring the island and the cottage was well equipped with everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. Christine even picked up our groceries and had them waiting for us when we arrived so we didn't have to spend time picking them up ourselves. We can't wait to return.

Awesome little place with an amazing view. Perfect for myself, my wife, and our 1 year old. Christine was very friendly and accommodating. It was nice to fish off of the rocks as well. Definitely would recommend!

We had such a great stay. The property is super cute and has everything you need. It’s clean, the bed is comfy but the outside space is the best part. The views are spectacular, there’s SUP and kayaks to use. The location is perfect, quiet but walking distance to shops, take aways or meals out at nearby hotels. The bus stop is across the road and easily gets you wherever you need to go. It’s perfect for two couples if you can book this and their sister properly so you basically have a private beach all to yourselves. You can always walk to the railway trail which is great for exploring / running on. One of the best places we’ve stayed in the world!

This was such a perfect location and home for a 5 day get away. You cannot beat the water access and outdoor space. Bigger than I expected! Clean and thoughtfully maintained. Close to Cambridge for events and dinners. We loved starting our morning looking at the fish and watching the boats go by. Star gazing at night. The host was wonderful, she even picked up our groceries and put them away! We plan to come back in the future !

Location on the water was ideal for us. We fished almost every day, and snorkeled right from the beach at the bottom of the steps. The sunrises/sunsets were just icing on the cake!

Bonus: Great Bonefishing!

We had a WONDERFUL stay and can't wait to go back. It is such a beautiful spot and we were so happy to discover that the fishing (and swimming) is excellent right from the rocks on the property. The hosts were wonderful and gave some great fishing tips as well!
