The property is absolutely beautiful! Me and my daughter had a great trip and definitely had an unforgettable and fun experience . The host was more than accommodating and would give 10/10 if I could. Highly recommend. We will be back!

This is a B.E.A.U.tiful place

Everything was so very clean and visually gorgeous inside and outside. They offer bikes to ride, a stream to walk by and loads of landscape views. They started a fire in the evening for us. If anything I could say surprised me was no TV in the room. In the evening with no cooking area (Kitchen) a TV would be nice to relax and end the day. But again such a minor thing when everything else was so enjoyable.

Nice place to stay near Sandusky

The Millsite Lodge property is beautiful. The room that I stayed in was clean and the check-in and check-out process was easy. Excellent choice for an overnight stay in the Sandusky area!

Place was very nice! Didn't get to spend much time at the lodge area, because we got to the property later than planned! But we checked it out and it was very nice! We played pool in there! It was very clean! We plan on coming back in the spring or summer! Good area, very quiet and secluded!

My friend Ben and I had an awesome experience staying here with my pup Taz! Very spacious common spaces and cute and cozy. The other guests were also very friendly. Highly recommend and definitely would return!

Best Weekend Getaway Ever!

The Gables residence was so beautiful! We had a hard time leaving the jacuzzi tub! The owners are very hospitable and communicative with their guests. The whole property was breathtaking. Everyone was so friendly and it was a relaxing atmosphere!

I great getaway for some peace and quiet. Beautiful property to walk or ride a bike. Pet friendly that is why i chose the place. Very easy check in . Port Clinton was nearby by to eat out or enjoy the beach. Not far to other attractions. Dont expect a tv, there is none in the room. The room had an old smell. Smelt like kitty litter to me? After a while you get used to it.

Quiet weekend getaway

My dog and I went for a weekend getaway to destress , relax and journal . It was fabulously quiet. My dog and I walked the HUGE property and it was bliss to let my husky mix run up ahead of me as we strolled along side the wide creek . The rain, although plentiful , , didn’t take any fun . I used the lodge ( community area ) to make a few cups of coffee, tea , and enjoy a few of the cereal bars . There was a digital lock on the room and I felt safe at night . I slept good in the bed so much so that I slept through my alarm . I woke up at 9:15. It was extremely hard to take the dog out , get coffee in the lodge , get ready and then pack , in 45 minutes to make the 10am check out . The early check experience did pull me out of my zen pretty quickly. I made it out by 10:10, no one was waiting to blow a whistle or anything . I didn’t think at all they would have . My conversations w Ranee before I even paid were valuable . She answered every concern and when she said “I’d love for you to come and stay “ I just paid and hoped for the best and it was fabulous. ( except for the early check out )
