Iconic Modern Farmhouse- San Luis Obispo

Gorgeous and iconic farmhouse located in the east railroad district of downtown San Luis Obispo. Situated in its own lovely microclimate, this historical gem has a private estate like-setting with a large backyard featuring several fruit trees and grape vines, creekside foliage and its very own windmill.

This meticulously cared for farmhouse has an open floorplan downstairs with living area, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and full bathroom. Up the stairs you'll find three bedrooms all with queen sized beds and bathroom with shower. The home is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to enjoy your trip. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac just moments to downtown.

Whole house and property

I manage multiple Airbnb's in the area. I do my best to be available 24/7 for my guests. I can be reached by text, Airbnb message or phone at any time during your stay. I live nearby, so if there is an emergency I can be to the property quickly.

Safe, quiet and family-friendly neighborhood in the east railroad district near French Hospital.

Quick 10-minute walk to downtown- thanks to the pedestrian bridge at the train tracks. 1 mile to Higuera St. Multiple restaurant options nearby.

We are located near the train station and some train noise can be heard at times. Mostly just the train horn and the last train come through no later than 9pm.

Walk, bike, drive, Uber, Lyft... all the ways.

This historic home is 100 years old and comes with the quirks and squeaks you would expect. The yard is not fully fenced so if you are traveling with a pet please keep that in mind.

enjoyed our stay, only wish it had been closer to down town, as I thought it was walking distance, but was not. That aside, it was all good and comfortable and manager Pauline was extremely nice.

We rented this home for a month and it really felt like a home to us. The house was well supplied with everything we needed and was in a wonderful location. We walked to downtown every day and sat on the porch every night. I really hope we can stay again!

The farmhouse was welcoming & warm. Big kitchen which was well stocked with items for cooking. There was an old heater, but it worked well. The beds were very comfortable. I wouldn’t highly recommend this VRBO. Cynthia

This house was so comfortable and convenient we wished we were staying longer. Everything was as advertised and include a very comfy living room perfect for football viewing. Check in was easy just use the side entrance and you are in. The beds were very comfortable our only complaint was they are very high and could use a step to get in/out. The town is very walkable and had lots of great restaurant choices. We didn’t have a reservation so our first choice had a long wait. The hostess recommended another Italian restaurant which was absolutely delicious. The evening was cool so we opted sit inside. We were comfortable but missed out on the opportunity to sit on their outdoor heated patio at Buona Tavolo. Would definitely like more time in SLO and this farmhouse.

We were in town for a week for our son’s wedding. The property was perfect for us. It was about a 20 minute walk to downtown SLO. Pauline was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again

Picked a very hot weekend in SLO and the house had a small window unit downstairs and many fans, it was difficult to get it cool enough to sleep. Well equipped kitchen and nicely decorated. Good location although no where walking distance.

We visited region for waves, wedding, & wineries in Avila Beach, Edna Valley, Paso Robles, & Pismo Beach. Your clean, charming, well-appointed historic farmhouse with quality updates in a quiet residential neighborhood? It proved the perfect centrally located base. Your communication was good, entry & exit smooth, & setting perfect for our needs. We look forward to returning.

The farmhouse is so well done and appointed. Communication was very clear for arrival and departure. There was even a cute book with instructions, restaurant recommendations, and things to do. The house was very clean and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely old farmhouse. The rooms and beds are comfortable. It is an old house so lots of creaking but clean, modern bathrooms, great patio and porch for morning coffee and afternoon wine. Was concerned that the train was so close but never heard it except for a little bit in the late afternoon. Quiet neighborhood with lots of parking. Great communication with owner.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the Farmhouse. It is the perfect place for a stay in San Luis Obispo. It is located in a quiet area, and is convenient to everything. Pauline is a great communicator and very responsive. The house is larger than it seems and has very nice amenities. We look forward to staying here again when back in SLO!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We loved being able to walk to breakfast at Sally Loo’s and downtown for dinners. The house itself is beautiful on a nice piece of property. Really feels like your classic SLO home!

My family of five had an amazing weekend at the farm house! The hike is larger than it seems with comfortable beds, updated restrooms and a fantastic little kitchen. The neighborhood is minutes from everything, quiet and safe. The kids had plenty of room to play in the front and back. So many great spots to enjoy the garden with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. Perfect place to stay while celebrating a local wedding !
