The Space:
Villa Sol y Limón is your dream beach getaway in Playas del Yunque, a wonderful family-friendly community in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico! This newly remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is just steps away from the pristine beach, offering you the ultimate coastal living experience.

Boasting a thoughtful design and stylish modern decor, this apartment is the perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. Relax in the spacious living areas, unwind in the well-appointed bedrooms, or savor the tropical breeze from the private balcony with a gas BBQ.

It features a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning throughout the entire apartment, washer & dryer, a balcony overlooking the green grounds and the beach, and, most importantly, it offers direct beach access. You will love the wonderful community amenities, which include two large swimming pools, two tennis courts, and basketball courts. The property offers one parking spot and 24-7 security.

LOCATION NOTE: This property is located in a residential community where the residents are currently working towards getting the buildings painted and to repair some sidewalks. This does not affect our property’s interiors, as it is in optimum condition. We politely ask to take this into consideration before booking or leaving us a review.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: This property is located in the community called “Playas del Yunque”, which does not legally require elevators in any buildings since they have a maximum of 3 floors. Please take this into consideration if you or a companion has any disabilities.

LIVING AREAS

With its open-concept layout, the living spaces at Villa Sol y Limón are located within the first level of this two-story apartment and integrate with each other, creating an inviting atmosphere for entertainment and relaxation. The living room offers a comfortable L-shaped sofa, a flat-screen TV, and direct access to the furnished balcony with beautiful views. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and the dining area with a dining table for six guests. The terrace is furnished with two armchairs and a sofa and it is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day at the beach.

KITCHEN

Villa Sol y Limón has a fun and fully equipped kitchen featuring beautiful backsplash tiling and vibrant blue cabinetry, adding a pop of color and personality to the space. It boasts a comfortable island complete with a stove and four chairs, perfect for casual dining or morning coffee with loved ones. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for a seamless cooking experience, including a coffee maker, refrigerator, freezer, oven, and microwave; you'll find everything you need to prepare delicious meals or refreshing beachside snacks.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

On the first level, you'll find the first bedroom, which offers a full-size futon for flexible sleeping arrangements and a dedicated workstation for productivity or catching up on emails. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs. The second bedroom features a queen bed; the third and fourth bedrooms each offer a bunk bed with a twin bed and a full bed. While our bedrooms are simple in design, they offer everything you need for a comfortable stay, including cozy bedding and serene surroundings. Please note that there are no TVs in the bedrooms, allowing you to fully disconnect and embrace the tranquility of your beach getaway.

PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):

We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

GETTING AROUND

Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande. The property includes one (1) assigned parking spot. You will need a car to move around to nearby restaurants, shops, El Yunque Rainforest, as well as to explore the rest of the island. If you have a second vehicle, this must be parked outside the community as street parking at your own risk. The community is very strict and they only provide one parking per apartment.

There are many things to do in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Here are our top picks, which you will be sure to enjoy during your stay:

Explore the lush and exotic El Yunque, the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help you plan a hike or participate in a zip-line adventure.

Experience the glowing waters on a night kayak tour in the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo.

Taste the local flavors at the staple kiosks in nearby Luquillo – right next to the beach.

Go on a horseback or four-track ride off the beaten path in Carabali Rainforest Park.

Play a round of golf at the Wyndham Rio Mar Golf Course or any of the neighboring nearby courses like Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club in Rio Grande or El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.

AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, and 1 dish sponge. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 8 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
