Or better yet, leave it all just a few steps away to refresh your spirit in our private Villa suite and its own private dream-lined beach, infinity pool and glistening rain forest that leave you inspired.


We welcome you to our private Villa just a stone’s throw away from the ocean for your own vacation in paradise to enjoy the best of all worlds. The Villa units were originally built as the most exclusive suites for the Resort (recognized by Connoisseur's guide of Resorts and Great Hotels as the Caribbean Premier Beach Front vacation and golf resort).

The views are stunning from every room and balcony of our 4th floor Oceanfront Villa. In fact, our personal Villa is closer to the ocean and beach and more private than the most expensive suite available at the adjacent Rio Mar Wyndham Resort. Also, unlike rental agencies, you are guaranteed to get the unit and views we show.

On the one hand escape from it all in your exclusive and private Villa with breathtaking views or soak up the sunshine by the private infinity pools or pristine palm tree lined beach. Our beautifully-decorated Villa features two bedrooms (One King/Two Queen) with two full bathrooms, living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining, and two private balconies. It is our special place so we have fully renovated and decked out every room with a huge 60 inch and two 42 inch Plasma HDTVs (all rooms are HD), wireless internet, full composition of premium movie channels and free local calling. Of course, we also bring you glorious direct views of the ocean and beach, and your choice of fresh ocean air or air conditioning.

Then again, that is only half the fun as additionally you can enjoy amenities of a world-class resort to include up to 8 restaurants, lounges and entertainment, 2 miles of uninterrupted beach, casino, 2 choices in championship golf courses (Greg Norman’s River, Fazio’s Ocean), 13 tennis courts, water sports, and a relaxing spa. A place of never ending opportunity and memories.

And it doesn’t end there as you are surrounded by beauty, the ocean on one side and the El Yunque National Forest mountains on the other as you look out the entry of our Villa area (just a 5 minute drive to the base). Just outside the Resort take a 25 minute drive to Fajardo where you can discover deep-sea fishing, Bioluminescent Bay, airport/ferry to beautiful Vieques and Culebra Islands, 30-minute drive to explore the history and culture of old San Juan and just 5 to 15 minutes to all amenities (supermarkets, banks, outlet shopping mall, K-Mart/Walmart, Ralph's, fast food, movie theaters, etc).

Beautiful Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long vacation. The location is beautiful and just as described. We were steps from the pool and the ocean and it was relaxing and magical. My family said it was our best vacation ever! There is a lot to do close by and not a bad drive to San Juan which we visited several times during our stay. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Great location and amenities

Our family of four (2 kids 17 & 22) stayed here the week of the July 4th holiday. The location is about a 35min drive from San Juan but super easy to get to. We'd previously stayed in San Juan but ended up preferring this because it's not so crowded. The property is literally on the beach and two pools are just down the elevator from the unit. It was quiet and also convenient to our tourists sites. (El Yunque, Bio Bay, Snorkel Tours etc). The owner was very accommodating and responsive when I emailed her to ask her questions I probably could have found online. Everything was clean and the villa was well equipped. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to PR. They only thing we'd do different is make some time to play golf next time.

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay in Rio Mar. TheCondo was clean and spacious for our family. The pools and beach area were lovely. I loved sitting on the balcony taking in the beautiful view. I would highly recommend this place and would return myself in the future.

Relaxation awaited

The trip was amazing! The place was clean, the owner was attentive to the details and attentive to the few minor suggestions I’ve made along the way. This property is NOT part of the Wyndham hotel, although it was at one point. You won’t have access to that Property’s pools (except for the restaurants). So pay attention to the property listing and not necessary what the reviews from 2018 said (which is what I did - not the owner’s fault though). We loved our stay and you will too!

Spring Break Stay

First things first: The location of this villa couldn't be better. True luxury is being able to see the sun and ocean waves within moments; to step onto the beach within seconds. In that sense, the convenience of this villa location is bar none, and Michelle property managers were extremely responsive to inquiries about check in and an inflatable mattress. The beds were also extremely comfortable too - what an awesome surprise!That said, a few extra touches and attention to detail would make this villa go from good to extraordinary - primarily cleanliness. Most of the dishes utensils (stored) were dirty; the bathrooms were a little grimy too. Things like the TV in the living room (didn't work) and main coffee maker (troublesome/leaky) detracted from the overall stay as well. Not deal breakers in the least, but small things that detracted from the quality of the villa overall. All that to say, the apartment was beautifully spacious and the location couldn't be beat. As a final note: We didn't cook much but those looking to prepare meals will need to stock up on essentials like oil, seasonings, etc, as the kitchen (pantry, etc.) was bare. Not a big deal for us, but heads up for others who may need to do a thorough grocery shop in order to cook meals on-site.

Perfect for our family!

This was our first experience with a VRBO and we couldn't have been happier! The space was perfect for my husband and I and 3 teenagers. The accommodations were perfect from top to bottom including beach necessities, powerful blender to make fun drinks, even a cigar cutter! Ocean view from every room! Two private balcony's. My favorite spot was to drink my Puerto Rico coffee out on the balcony in the morning overlooking the ocean and then hang out there again at night sipping wine and often falling asleep listening to the ocean waves. The unit was very clean and felt very private and safe. We actually never heard or saw any neighbors so we felt like the whole place was ours. I loved the keypad entrance, never had to worry about losing cards! Loved that there were two designated places to park, one in the garage and one outside in the parking lot. We had a larger vehicle so we parked mostly in the parking lot. The two pools and large hot tub were very clean (seemed better than the Wyndham pools actually). The beach in front of our villa was super clean, water perfectly warm, great boogie boarding! My husband and I love long walks on the beach and couldn't believe how silky smooth the sand was and that we could walk forever! We often found sandollars washing up into the shore, which are now in my living room! The sand volleyball court was amazing! We had a corn hole tournament with 5 other families at the resort one day. Location was great for the excursions we did!

Great Spring Break

Perfect location for a family of 4. Kids got their own room with their own beds, bathroom and balcony which they loved. Balconies have amazing views over the various pools and the beach is very nice. Beautiful grounds, and the unit was well stocked for a few meals in, while being super close to a lot of other tasty options. Location was perfect for our adventures to the National Forest, a day trip to Culebra, Farjardo bioluminescent bay tours, and Old San Juan. Longest drive was about 2 hrs to the Toro Verde Adventure Park for the ziplines, but it seemed to go fast and was great to see more of the island.The owner was very pleasant to communicate with, and provided an excellent guidebook that answered many of my pre-trip questions. Excellent hospitality and would definitely return. Thank you!

We had a great time staying at the ocean villas at wyndham grand rio mar. The location of the condo is incredible and as advertised. Waki g up every morning to the bright sun and the ocean view was amazing. The owner and property manager were easy to communicate with, and the on site personnel were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Amazing Stay!!

Spent a week at this wonderful 2 bedroom villa with my wife and 18yr old son. It was as advertised and then some. The location is amazing. Pools were beautiful and the proximity the the ocean / beach can't be beat. The host was very accommodating and we would happily stay there again.

Amazing Trip!

I thought the property was even nicer in person than the pictures - very clean and cute beach towels on the beds when we arrived. The balcony is idyllic with the warm breeze and view (and sound) of the ocean! Michelle is excellent to work with and was very responsive to any questions we had. The only thing that would have made it any better would be if one of the pools was heated; they were quite chilly and not that enjoyable to swim in. Otherwise, it was a great trip and hope to go back someday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place. Absolutely loved the pools and the hot tub. Unfortunately, we were never able to swim in the ocean at the VRBO, there were red flag warnings on this beach the whole time we were there, and had to find other more protected beaches. That was a big bummer, not the hosts fault of course. We loved coming back in the evening and walking over to the pool bar and getting the kids smoothies. Overall, the place was in a beautiful spot. A trip to remember

We loved our stay! Owner and the onsite managers were great. The property is just gorgeous - we loved the views and our pool time and beach time. The main hotel was an easy walk over for dinner and morning coffee. The unit had all the amenities. Would definitely stay here again.
