We were in apt #2 of Casa Pelayo
Cleanliness:
The shower hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. It had hair and dirt. We contacted management who apologized and said cleaning would come the next day. They didn't. The floors, of course, got progressively dirty throughout our 4 day trip but there was no broom and "extra cleaning" would have come with a fee so we ended up wearing shoes inside. Towels were never changed....for a four-day.
False description:
Speaking of towels, there were no beach towels (though said to be available in the description) so I spent $23 for 3 at Walmart. Not good. They said there are places for laundry "nearby" in the description. What they did didn't say is that they are not in walking distance and that laundry places' reviews are horrendous.
Living:
There is virtually no storage for clothing/items. There are 2 nightstands in the bedroom and a built-in shelf that is poorly built and cracking under weight/pressure. This is for an apt that is supposed to house up to 4 people (again, they didn't replace towels despite me requesting). There is also no powered ventilation in the bathroom despite it sitting off the bedroom so you might want to take quick showers and flush a lot if you have to do a number two.
It's a street level apartment so you will hear cars and music loud and clear. Hoses for all 6 apartments' AC units run thru the bathroom ceiling so condensation will drip on you when you're in there. The indoor shutters don't work well.
