"The check in was easy. We appreciated the fenced yard as we had children with us so it made us feel a smidge safer. Easy to get to the best parts of town like the highway and the market. We were there for a short time so we did not get to use the kitchen amenities but we appreciated all the things they had that we could use."

"If you’re in the area, this is a gem. The pictures don’t do justice for the size and quality of this home. All of the Hosts - online and onsite- are super nice. Highly recommend."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree Villa. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient. The home is a 30 minute walk from central San Ignacio, so the neighborhood is quiet but it's still easy to stop by town."

"Beautiful property within a community still being built. This is going to be a fantastic development when fully finished. You definitely will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to access it (especially in the rainy season). Comfy beds and pillows, cool A/C, lovely pool, beautiful views, all the comforts of home away from home. Stay here, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!!!"

"By far the best place we stayed in San Ignacio. Amazing view, great hosts. Beautiful room fully stocked and modern. "

"Overall, the property was great. We did have the hot water heater go out, and there is an air conditioning in every room, but the property manager communicated great greatly and provided us a discount of 50 for the inconvenience of not having hot water for three of our four days there."

"I originally had some hesitation after reading older reviews, but I’m so glad we went ahead with this stay. The host has clearly listened to feedback and made amazing upgrades. Now all the bedrooms have air conditioning, which made a huge difference—everyone slept comfortably even in the summer heat. They also added a water heater, so we enjoyed nice hot showers whenever we wanted, and we had absolutely no issues with the toilets during our stay.Overall, this home far exceeded our expectations....

"Everything was great! We loved staying here, communication with Katia was easy, and Consuelo was a sweetheart. The pool was much larger than the pictures made it look, and we enjoyed swimming in it every day! The grounds were beautiful also, and we felt like we were in an oasis in the middle of the jungle!A few cautions: the road at the end is a bit bumpy and steep. If you go the wrong way it is REALLY steep and 100"

"Check in couldn't have been easier. Terry, the host, was in contact with us while we were there and went the extra mile and gave us complimentary snacks and drinks. We didn't have any issues during our short stay. The pool was a great and relaxing amentity, especially after coming back from a tour in the hot month of August. "We definitely recommend this property. Beautiful grounds! So many tropical plants everywhere. You are literally in the jungle. Taking a nap on the porch hammock was so relaxing. The house iself is clean and cozy. It is perfect for a family of 4. Location is great. Close to restaurants and shops (10 mins from San Ignacio). Not a far drive from Mayan Ruins. Only 2 hours from Caracol. And also Kate was very responsive if you need anything."

"We stayed here mainly to visit Mayan temples in the region. There are 2 super markets in a 2 min walking distance and because we had a rental car we did not mind not being closer to downtown San Ignacio. It is not that far, but for walking it is. The house had all needed facilities and functioning appliances, but don’t expect modern state of the art US style appliances. Overall good value for money."

"Mike and Melanie make you feel part of the family. They always make sure you are having a good time and are willing to help make your experience better. The tranquil setting of the jungle cabanas was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon.
