We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated how welcoming James and Candance are. From the moment we arrived, they were kind, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. They were quick to respond to questions and gave great recommendations that made our stay even better. Their hospitality really stood out and made the experience feel warm and easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting!

We had the most wonderful stay imaginable! James and Candace were kind, extremely helpful and very accommodating. The accommodation was full of thoughtful touches that made our stay really pleasant. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean, and James' daily "light cleans" were really appreciated. James and Candace went to every length to make the stay feel like "home from home". We would love to stay again and thoroughly recommend James' and Candace's home.

I was looking for an inexpensive, simple place to stay for a week while I attended a class in the area. This place was perfect! James and Candace were great hosts — very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The neighborhood is beautiful and very walkable. I would definitely stay there again.

Couldn't have been a better stay! James, and his wife Candace, were so kind and lovely. They made sure the room was clean, breakfast was available, the washer/dryer was available and so much more. Peaceful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The bed was very comfortable, and the space was perfect for my boyfriend and me. We especially enjoyed the peaceful patio area—perfect for relaxing, taking in the scenery, and listening to the sounds of nature. The home was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again on a future visit.

Comfortable, cozy stay

From start to finish our hosts communicated well, were so hospitable and welcoming and responded to our requests efficiently. We had every convenience with wonderful breakfasts provided as well. The location was very convenient from the SFAirport, and the grounds had beautiful redwoods. If ever we return to the area, we will hope to stay here.

Comfy spot with beautiful patio

This is a single room with an ensuite bathroom. Microwave & refrigerator in the laundry area next door. It’s clean & comfortable with a large private patio right outside your door. It’s not the place to stay if you need to hang out, work all day, prepare meals, etc. But it’s quite affordable & preferable to a sterile hotel room. James & Candance are lovely people & gracious hosts.

Cozy redwood oasis

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy room in Burlingame. James was a wonderful host greeting us upon arrival and showing us around. I especially enjoyed having tea on the back patio in the redwood grove and fresh tangerines directly off the tree. The place is in a great centralized location - close to the airport, a very nice shopping and restaurant district, the coast, and the city. I highly recommend!

Wonderful stay during Christmas Week!

This was my fifth stay here in 14 months and I am very comfortable here. It has become my home away from home. It has all I need: a quiet, private retreat for overnight while visiting my family during the days. I especially like my breakfasts each morning. James and Candace are very gracious and make me feel welcome. I hope to stay here many times in the future while visiting my family.

Thanksgiving 2024 Stay near my family

I feel safe and comfortable staying here. The size is perfect for me and the storage space, lighting, outlets, seating are all perfect for me. I am a senior citizen and I find the space perfect. James and Candace are very accommodating to me and my needs. This is my 4th time to stay with them
