The pool was beautiful & well maintained. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was well kept, shower had great water pressure & temperature. The chickens were great our granddaughter really enjoyed them.However the shining stars were the hosts Nancy & Greg. They were warm & friendly and showed interest in our family. We will definitely be staying again!

What a wonderful visit! We chose this property for a week’s holiday vacation, so we could explore the San Antonio area, do some hunting, shopping, etc, with our dogs. Greg and Nancy were such gracious hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed, including fresh eggs. The property is clean and comfortable, and our dogs loved visiting the chickens. We did not get to experience the pool (December!) but it is beautiful. The rental is private, but owners are close by in case you need anything. We will absolutely be back!

Our second stay at this awesome farmhouse. The chickens, the flowers, the pool, the outside lovable kitty Queen Bee, the friendly hosts—it’s a perfect dog-friendly paradise—very private yet close to shopping and all the Texas fun!

It was awesome! The owners went out of their way to insure everything was perfect! The privacy is beyond compare! We had a wonderful visit and will definitely be back! I would give it more than 5 stars if possible. Wonderful stay!

Great hosts. Good location about 20-25 minutes to San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo grounds. Property was clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

Beautiful place

Our family of 4 stayed for a long weekend. It was a great time, we all enjoyed the pool and chickens. The house is a cute, older home but well maintained. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We stayed here over a long weekend with the three of us and my parents. Our hosts were so incredibly welcoming and gracious, answering any questions and asking about interests in advance (we were arriving at the start of dove season, for instance). My son loved feeding the chickens and woke up early to help cook some of the fresh eggs! We all enjoyed the pool and the whole house was perfect to recharge and reconnect.

Everything was nothing short of AMAZING! From the property owners to the property itself! The owners hospitality made the stay just that much enjoyable. Great people with a beautiful property. They were nothing but the best!

Everything is so amazing

The place is very relaxing. Loved the whole house specially the pool area. Greg and Nancy are best host ever. They welcomed us and gave us a nice tour around the house. My husband had a small cut when he was unloading our stuff. I texted Greg to ask if they have a first aid kit, I was just expecting a reply but they were there in less than a minute to check on us. The day we checked out, my daughter accidentally left her eyeglasses. I didn’t know she left it until I got a text from Greg about the eyeglasses. He was so kind to send the eyeglasses to our address. Others may not care enough if you left something behind. But Kudos to Greg and Nancy for going above and beyond

Quiet Girls Weekend

Omi's place was perfect. We were looking for a quiet weekend get away for 3 friends. Close enough to Gruene and San Marcos Outlets for shopping and nice, relaxing pool time as well. Hosts were helpful, friendly, accommodating and great with communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Best farmhouse EVER!!

I can't say enough great things about this property and the hosts. We had a few delays in getting here; arriving around 9 PM. Greg was extremely accommodating and gave us a tour. The house is huge! Two pools, a great indoor (screened in) and outdoor hosting area, big living room and dining room/kitchen, and laundry facilities. Large grill and bluetooth capabilities as well. Greg and Nancy provide farm fresh eggs and all ingredients for smores. Our son even got to collect eggs and bring the chickens into the coop for the night. This is a very unique property experience; you are in the country but also just a few minutes away from shopping and restaurants (and a QuikTrip). Only about 20 minutes away from downtown San Antonio as well. Our only regret was we only got to spend a couple nights instead of a whole week. And also that we didn't get to meet Nancy (swim lessons are very busy this time of year). We can't wait to come stay again!

Cozy home with awesome pool!!!

We have stayed here several times. The owners are super welcoming and nice. They have chickens and they provide some eggs, and you can buy some too. Close to town, but has a nice country feel, and they get air gliders flying around in the mornings and evenings. Definitely recommend and will continue to return!!

Excellent place to stay

Omi's place is in an excellent location 15 miles north of San Antonio extremely convenient to most of the east Texas tourist attractions. The home itself was very well equipped with very comfortable furniture. It is in a rural area. Our host Greg and Nancy couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. This is our second stay, and we found it just as wonderful as our first stay. We will be back again next year!!

Charming farm house!

My husband and I found everything to love about this delightful and history-filled farm house! It's charming, pet friendly, very clean, a cozy bed with the devine bedding and pillows, the shower rates a 10, the pool is gorgeous, farm fresh eggs, and a resident outdoor kitty. It's convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and tons of Texas fun. And the owners, Greg and Nancy, are so welcoming and truly the best hosts. We'll definitely be back!!

So much fun

Greg and Nancy were so thoughtful and kind. It was a birthday trip for my daughter and we arrived to a large happy birthday banner. They took us to visit their chickens and gathering eggs. The pool was nice and clean; beautifully maintained. It was like staying at a beloved aunt's house. We will definitely go again!

Perfect Hosts, Cozy Stay

Greg and Nancy were incredible hosts. They checked on us before we arrived, met us at the house when we arrived, checked on us throughout our stay, offered suggestions on where to eat and things to do, and checked on us after we departed. The home has been in the family for decades and well-maintained. It was cozy and convenient to everything we wanted or needed to do in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. The pool was nice, clean, and inviting. The screened porch overlooking the pool offered a cool retreat from the summer heat. We would not hesitate to stay at Omi’s Place again.
