"We came, after booking and paying, and the owner said he is not working with Hotels.com that he had no room for us and that we should contact Hotels.com to get our money back. I have used Hotels.com for years, this is the first time this has happened and therefore also the first time I have realized how difficult it is to contact hotels.com if something happens. 3 days later I have still not god to a chat, found a phone number or anything to contact Hotels.com directly. "Außerhalb der Saison sehr abgelegen. Nächstes Restsurant per Fußmarsch in 40 min zu erreichen. Netter telefonischer Kontakt aber niemand da zum ein- oder auschecken. Appartement unten - naja. Schlafzimmer oben toll mit Aussicht auf den Strand. Schade dass die Spühlung der Toilette, das Licht unten und das Warmwasser nicht funktionierten! Während der Saison mag das anders sein aber so gibts massiv Punktabzug !"

Hervorzuheben ist die stets gezeigte Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeberin - auch in schwierigen Situationen (ich musste wegen Krankheit für einige Tage ins Krankenhaus). "Staying at Papa Joe’s house was just perfect. It is the place to be with your family. House is small but cute and cosy. Very accessible and walking distance to the beach and to restaurants.
