" Can’t beat this hotel! Love staying here. We were greeted as loyal guests and received a hand written note and chocolates to thank us for return visits. We love the spa like pool floor. We were slightly disappointed on this visit because there were several kids screaming and splashing in the pool. It would be great to have a sign indicating that it is a quiet zone to preserve the spa-like atmosphere. "

"Clean and easy access off the highway. Location is about 30 min from Halifax waterfront. Close to the highway to get to other places in Nova Scotia. Room is clean, spacious, and beds were very comfortable. Coffee machine downstairs makes cappucino, mochacino and specialty coffees 24/7! Will definitely be staying here when we travel back to Halifax. "

"Great location! Close to everything. Friendly staff. Lovely room! Our only complaint was that the pool was incredibly hot—too hot to swim in. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"We like everything about the Haliburton. The staff were wonderful and helpful, the hotel is beautiful and clean. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed and was clean. The area around the Haliburton had everything we wanted, dinning, shopping and we were downtown and very close to the waterfront. We would stay there again."

"Hotel is in a good location but needs a renovation. The rooms are dated. Door latch kept sticking and would take multiple attempts to open. Roof top patio is covered in bird poop. A fire alarm went off one night and the night staff was not helpful. He didn’t keep his composure or communicate with guests."
