  • Casa Pacifica is a large property with 2 houses (6 bedrooms), a large pool and a lot of outdoor space inside of a gated property. Your rental give you the entire property, both houses with 6 bedrooms in total.

    This incredible property is in a prime location 200 yards from the stunning Playa Samara, one of best beaches in Costa Rica. This private property actually steps to two incredible beaches (Playa Samara and Playa Carrillo) and you are walking distance to the towns of Samara and Carrillo for a real taste of Costa Rican culture. This is a perfect place for an active family vacation or just a relaxing, casual getaway. We offer many more extras including 2 large kitchens (one in each house), kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, grills, 65" TV, dishwasher, washer/dryer. beach umbrellas, beach toys, cornhole, boardgames, and more.

    The four-bedroom home has two masters and a great living area which opens up to the kitchen and a large covered terrace overlooking the pool. The smaller house is is only steps away, sharing the shared circular driveway and has an additional kitchen, living room and outdoor living spaces. The pool is surrounded by a lush garden, and you can expect to be visited by monkeys, iguanas, land-crabs, red-tailed squirrels and scores of other lizards and birds. Samara Beach is known to be one of the safest swimming beaches on the west coast of Costa Rica but is also great for surfing too.

    Boats can pick you up right at the beach (200 yards up the road) for world-class sport-fishing, turtle & dolphin tours or just a tour of the beautiful coastline. Included with the house are two kayaks so that you can tour the safe waters or go visit Isla Chola and have and entire island to yourself. You can learn to surf in Samara and catch intermediate waves, and you are only 15 miles away from some of the top surfing breaks in the world.

    This is one of the finest rentals in Samara. Our staff will ensure you have an amazing vacation. Wall-to-wall tile, quality linens, towels & large walk-in showers await you and housekeeping and security is included - all you have to do is enjoy yourself.

    Security & Camera Disclosure: The entire property has walls and gates and just in case we do employ a nightly security guard. There are security cameras with motion detecting lights covering the 2 driveway entrances. There are no security cameras inside the house or anywhere by the back pool or shower areas. VRBO has a strong policy on how video content can be used.

We were a three generation family of 12 and all of us enjoyed our 6-night stay. The amenities and space was comfortable and convenient for our group. Casa Pacifica is a short walk to Playa Sámara and also within walking distance to Playa Carillo - both are beautiful beaches. Easy and prompt communication with Sámara Rentals. Great vacation.

We had a great stay. We were a group of 10 of all ages celebrating a 50th birthday. Loved the bikes to ride along the beach to town. The pool was great to come back to or start our morning yoga beside. The property management was great. Provided us with so many local options and made sure the check in process was smooth. The house was great for a party of 10. Loved the vibe in Samara. It was very nice having The Hideaway Hotel about two doors down where we could grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I recommend renting a car and or golf cart to get to and from the town. Great time!

Would definitely stay again. Any issues we had they had someone over within the hour. Monkeys in the morning. Quick walk to the beach or drive to Carrillo. Close enough to everything but far enough to be quieter.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Casa Pacifica. The outdoor space was incredible. We especially enjoyed the pool, the iguanas, the birds and the tranquility. We loved taking the kayaks and paddle boards to the island for snorkelling and exploring. The beach on New Year's Eve had a spectacular display of fireworks. Great memories!

Our group of 4 couples and several children really enjoyed our stay. Overall it was great. We were bummed that the bikes were in pretty bad disrepair so we were not able to use them, but we quickly realized that we didn't need them as walking and driving was the best way to get around. The access to the beach was great, the grounds were beautiful, and the pool was perfect. We had monkeys playing in the trees surrounding the properties almost every day. It was super hot when we were there so the air conditioning struggled to keep it as cool as we would have liked, but not much you can do about that. The rooms got nice and cool at night so that was great. Paul was a great host and the property managers were communicative and helpful. We look forward to hopefully visiting again - maybe during the wet season when it's not so hot and dry.

Kitchen was fully equiped for cooking. Incredibly safe. All native peoples were friendly and helpful when navigating to local fish markets, etc. Samara Rentals provided exceptional service in navigating excursions and more.The location was superb. The property was clean and as described.

Overall stay was really good. With just a few issues during the first few days that were addressed fairly well we enjoyed our stay. House is centrally located near the beach, markets and some good restaurants.

Well equipped and clean place with comfy beds. Lots of space for our group of 8. It was key to have a place to hang out in the heat of the afternoon. The location was great- had to drive to Samara (can only walk to town via the beach at low tide or on the road, which we weren’t comfortable doing). Samara beach was max 5 minutes walk. A very short drive to Carrillo beach, which was our favourite of the 5 beaches we visited. Easy day trip to Playa Guiones (Nosara). The Hideaway Hotel next door was really convenient if we wanted a meal or drink and didn’t want to drive anywhere. The entire booking and check in/out process was smooth and the property manager was available at all times.

Great spot for family time

Very nice house for 9 adults, great location, short walk to the beach, loved the pool & outdoor space, well equipped kitchen. Manager very responsive to any problems, though could have used more communication with when staff would show up, ie landscapers, security, cleaners. Enjoyed our stay & a break from winter!

This property was awesome. All 12 of us agreed that it was one of our favorite vacations. Security was great, housekeeping was great, air conditioning was great, pool was awesome, and bedrooms spacious. Carillo Beach was beautiful and close to the house. Best family vacation ever

Couldn’t be a better location and house arrangement for our family of 7 adults and 6 children. Lovely swimming pool, short walk to the beach, walk or drive to town, cafes and markets for everything. We went surfing every morning at Playa Sámara, then pool, then afternoon stroll down to our beach for a sunset swim.

Great location for a family gathering

Stayed here with my extended family to celebrate my parents’ 50the wedding anniversary. Wonderful property in a fantastic location. We walked to the beach to watch the sunset every night and enjoyed the covered outdoor space. Highly recommend!

Great place

Our group had a great time in this spacious, equipped, and clean property. It’s a quick walk down the street to a great beach for kayaking and snorkeling. We seen monkeys, iguanas, and sea turtles almost daily. The hideaway hotel next door also has a great restaurant. Highly recommend this house and would love to stay again.

Don't miss out

Perfect location, the beautiful Playa Samara is a very short walk down the street. Ocean was beautiful, sunsets even prettier. We stayed for the week, and wished it could have been longer. Rental company was responsive, home very clean, lots of towels for everyone. Don't miss this vacation rental, worth every penny!
