"When I booked, there was no indication that the property would be undergoing renovation work. When I got there, Reno work was heavily underway. From approximately 9am until 6pm every day, there was drilling or scraping, tools dropped, drywall and other debris taken down the elevator all day long. The workers were very kind and apologized when they noticed us waiting. Breakfast was a typical buffet style but always presented nicely. The area was very clean. "I enjoyed my stay, however the breakfast portion was very small even for a petite person like myself, I was still very hungry after breakfast. There was a cleaning issue with the bathroom that was overlooked by the cleaning staff that I alerted the owners to that will hopefully be fixed for future visitors. The house is great and very clean overall. The owners are very nice."

"The lobby looks great on the picture, but the layout of the hotel is NUTS! Needs some serious updating. The pool was (still) out of commission. Breakfast is not included. When we arrived, having been assured by Expedia that we had 2 King sized rooms reserved, we found that there were ZERO king sized rooms available, and that 3rd party places like Expedia have "no way of actually 'reserving' specific rooms". They tried to put us into a double! Eventually they agreed to 2 separate doubles, but...

"It’s an Inn, no Quality though. Overall not a great shape. Basic breakfast is at least available. Toilets don’t flush well. Room lights are all white. Blue light keeps people awake longer. Room ket quit working before checkout time. Fitness center is sure workable, trash accumulated there (empty Cheetos wraps, pile of empty bottles, used towel on the floor). It’s not for everybody."

"While staff were respectful, the desk manager absolutely refused to budge on a deposit fee. I understand that they have policies, but the entire conversation was purely transactional, not customer oriented. I had forgotten about the deposit fee and had spent essentially my last dollar to bring my fiance in from an 11 hour road trip. I hadn’t seen her in months. The desk manager refused to let me speak to the property manager to explain our situation, stating to either pay the deposit or cancel....

"Rooms we not ready. Very small and old. Nothing like the room we had in Indiana by the same name. "

"The first room we were assigned still had their trash and belongings and was obviously not cleaned (their bags were still in the room, the bed was used/linens everywhere) The second and last room they had that we were assigned had a door that did not lock. This meant we had to pack all of our belongings into the car every time we left the room and crossed our fingers that we wouldn’t find strangers in our bed upon our return. Very very dirty.
