"A tastefully and comfortably modernised pub in a somewhat downbeat village near the M1 and airport but surprisingly quiet. The M1 is white noise in the background. I couldn't hear the planes. Rooms in the pub's grounds were comfortable with parking right outside and the food was amazing, including breakfast. No soggy mushrooms! If I was a lone female traveller I would feel particularly safe here. Very happy that we broke our journey overnight and will definitely do so again. "

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and really comfortable. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with a great mix of character and comfort.
