Kauniisti remontoitu 1912 -mökki on suosikkipaikkamme rentoutua ja nauttia luonnosta. . Rakennuksessa on kaikki uudet LVI- ja sähköverkostot, kaivovesi on testattu ja maistuu ihanan raikkaalta. Meillä on myös nopea nettiyhteys. Piha alue on suuri ja aurinkoinen, jota ympäröi kauniit ja korkeat puut.. Kaikki tunnin sisällä Helsingistä!

Puutarhaa ympäröi aita, joka on täydellinen koirille. Pihapiirin ympäristössä liikkuu myös paljon eläimiä varsinkin jäniksiä ja peuroja. Yksi mieluisimmista asioistamme tarkkailla on kuitenkin monet lintulajit!
Järvi on upea uinti ja lämpenee todella lämpimäksi kesällä, koska se on melko matala järvi (5 metriä syvimmältä). Jos tykkäät kalastaa haukia tai ahvenia saat varmasti.
Jos haluat käyttää kylpytynnyriä saunan terassilla on letku jolla voit täyttää sen. Mökistä löytyy lisäohjeita paljun käyttämiseen. On myös tärkeää, että vesi tyhjennetään ennen uloskirjautumista, jotta vesi ei jäädy ja, että meidän siivooja voi pestä paljun seuraavaa vierasta varten.

Annamme vieraamme olla ihan omassa rauhassa. Annamme erittäin selkeät ohjeet miten pääset mökillemme, mutta jos tarvitset meitä milloin tahansa voitte soittaa tai laittaa viestiä niin autamme mielellämme. Lähellä on kuitenkin ystäviämme, jotka voivat myös auttaa tarpeen vaatiessa. Haluamme todella, että nautit lomastasi, joten älä epäröi ilmoittaa meille huolenaiheista tai jos tarvitset jotain.

Kettula on hiljainen kylä, mutta täynnä ystävällisiä ihmisiä, jotka kaikki arvostavat alueen kauneutta. Kettulassa on useita kivoja luontopolkuja. Täällä on myös kivoja paikkoja lähellä kuten;
Kasvihuoneilmiö-kahvila / kauppa (5,5 km) - outo ja upea kauppa, jossa paljon valinnanvaraa. He myyvät mm lahjatarvikkeita, puutarhaan tavaroita, huonekaluja ja niin edelleen. Sieltä löydät melkein mitä vain. Siellä asuu myös kaksi isoa jänistä ja liikkeen yhteydessä on ihana kahvila (mielestäni siellä on suomen parhaat munkit)
Traktorimuseo (9,7 km) - Erittäin suosittu museo, jossa on paljon antiikkitraktoreita. Lahnajärven Ravintola ja maatilakauppa (7,7 km) - Hiljattain remontoitu kuuluisa kahvila/ ravintola, jossa on suuri hiekkaranta ja järjestettyjä tapahtumia. Sieltä saa myös loistavan lounaan. Lähin ruokakauppa on Sale Suomusjärvellä tai Nummella (molemmat noin 10 km päässä).

Auto on ihanteellinen liikkumiseen. Saloon ja Turkuun menevä bussi pysähtyy kuitenkin Kasvihuoneilmio-kahvilassa / -kaupassa, jolloin voit järjestää paikallisen taksin tai kävellä matkan viimeisen 5,5 km :)

Kylpytynnyrin voi on täyttää letkulla mikä löytyy saunan terassilla olevasta puisesta boksista. Se kiinnitetään saunan hanaan ja ikkunan kautta paljuun. Vasta sitten kun palju on täynnä voi sitä alkaa lämmittää (noin 30 cm paljun sisällä olevien reikien yläpuolella) Lämmitys mukavaan lämpötilaan kestää noin 4 tuntia. Aseta kansi päälle, kun et käytä sitä, jotta vesi pysyy lämpimänä ja muista vetää puinen tulppa pois ennen lähtöä, jotta se tyhjentyy. Vesi ei saa jäätyä paljuun tai se menee rikki.

Nice place poor host

Our first christmas away with the kids and two friends. We arrived late evening and had to change the batteries in the fire alarm. But we didn’t initially complain about this because we are not usually the moaning type. The next morning we explored the property more, we went down to the sauna and hot tub area which although was nice we were greeted by a broken shower which had a high pressure constant leak. Which meant we couldn’t use the facilities properly in that area. We then contacted josh and he said he would get his maintenance team on it asap. We thought great no more drama we can enjoy ourselves. However this wasn’t the end of it. Josh then told us to stop the leak by using a knife instead of sending the team, i tried this which slightly worked but water kept coming out. Two more days went by with no resolution for the fault we then told him the leak was worse and it was kicking out really hot water and his response was, i can’t believe you have not stopped the leak. which is absolutely shocking when we paid just under 3k for our stay. This leak then effected the pressure in the house which meant we had no hot water for the kids to shower in, the washing machine kept saying a fault code, the toilet also wouldn’t fully flush and to top it off the seat was faulty. The shower was not fixed until the last evening even tho he promised it would be done much sooner. No apology or offer of partial refund and still ongoing. Have pics, vids and screenshots as evidence. poor!

Sehr schönes und ruhig gelegenes Haus am See mit Saunahütte und Whirlpool. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Casa Salo

My very first impression was a surprise when the hosts preferred to give us the exact address later on in order to protect the privacy of their guests. "Very professional," I thought. I really wanted to find an authentic, traditional Finnish cottage next to a lake. I was very excited about how well organised the sauna area is. As an interior designer, I really appreciate the effort put into making the spaces as cozy as possible, caring about all the details to make them even more enjoyable. That is exactly what Josh & Satu do. The devil is in the details, and they know it very well. For instance, you have at your disposal essential oils to create a richer sauna experience and Italian extra virgin olive oil to make your food tastier. It is worth mentioning that our dog has been so happy playing around and roaming the massive, fully-fenced backyard freely. They even had the warmth to give a new toy as a present to our dog to welcome his stay. A perfect sleep is 100% guaranteed. The location is super quiet. The cottage is in a residential area full of harvest fields, and all you can hear are birds singing tucked into super smooth and fluffy bed linen, high-quality pillows, and a dreamy mattress. If you want to rest and really understand why Finland is the happiest country in the world, Casa Salo is really your place! Thank you very much for making our guest experience so fantastic.

Eine Woche im Haus am See

Das Haus liegt inmitten von Bäumen auf einem wunderschönen und großen Grundstück mit direktem Seezugang. Die Lage zwischen Turku und Helsinki ermöglicht viele Ausflüge. Vom großen Vorzimmer führt eine sehr steile Treppe in die zwei oberen Schlafzimmer. Ein weiteres Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoß. Alle Schlafzimmer sind sehr großzügig und gemütlich. Da wir sehr gerne kochen und backen, war uns die Küche zu klein und die Ausstattung nicht optimal. Allerdings gibt es einen guten Griller auf der Terrasse und einen zweiten großen Kühlschrank im Vorzimmer. Insgesamt haben wir uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt und wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche an dem See verbracht.
