The host was very welcoming upon check in, and the amenities were as described online. The king efficiency sweet had the essentials to make food in unit as desired, we made a breakfast and dinner. But they don’t have all cooking stuff such as olive oil, spices available. Basic salt/ pepper shaker was included. Great that dogs were allowed to stay and a convenient trail to walk them on right across from Hotel.

Love this town, the motel staff was great the unit was clean and the fireworks views off the front of property were perfect. Sad that upstairs guests were extremely loud.

Loved it!

We wish we could have stayed longer. It was very comfortable with great amenities. We also loved the concept that a family worked together to take an old gem and make it new. They did it well with thoughtful touches. We plan to come back.

Wonderful little place with the NICEST people! Bed was super comfy, condo was very clean, kitchen was great! (But do open the windows, if you're cooking!) .....apologies about setting the smoke alarm off - LOL! We will definitely be staying again soon!

Easy to find, clean, modern, and comfortable. A little noisy

The room was clean, comfortable, laid out well, and has had some updates. We had to open the windows while cooking (per property manager) which was a little weird with people in the hot tub in the courtyard below our window but not bad. We appreciated having room to spread out and being right off the main road wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. We’d stay here again! Really appreciated being able to bring our dogs.

Perfectly lovely!!

The little condo was perfect! Clean and comfy and had wonderful coffee in the room! We had a little trouble with VRBO (not the motel!) and the hostesses we dealt with -- Robin & Alicia were amazing. They definitely went the extra mile to get things sorted out for us. Thank you!!!

Very enjoyable stay

Hosts were very friendly and very helpful. Loved the hot tub. Very close to beautiful river walk along the Arkansas river. Short walk to downtown dining and other interests. Very pet friendly and wonderful view of the Rockies.

Bait and Switch, the property I rented was not the property I was given when I arrived. The advertising says air conditioning but had a swamp cooler that wasn't working. The room was 88 degrees when we arrived and no way to cool the room down. I rented a ground floor unit that was pictured and had to haul our items up the stairs, with my husband's bad knees. When I asked the on duty help to fix the issues, she told me she was sorry, but this happens all the time and there was nothing she could do. She said she would talk to the owner. NOTHING was done or fixed and not even an apology from the owner. Nobody around in the morning when we checked out, and no response from the owner. Imagine sleeping in a 88 degree humid room as the swamp cooler only pushed out damp water.

Truly pet friendly

While located on the outskirts of downtown it was a short bike ride to get to the main hotspots. Plenty of street parking. Full size kitchen which is great for keeping your food cold in such a warm location. Only one small window so the room is very dark most of the day. This was the only pet friendly hotel in Salida that allowed more than just dogs! I would stay here again.

Felt like visiting family

We could not have felt more welcome for our 4 day stay. The place was the perfect size for our family of 4, everything we needed was there, & the people that work there…so welcoming. We will DEFINITELY come back! Thank you for a great week!
