Newly-constructed 3 bedrooms with queen-sized beds, 2 bathrooms, open kitchen dining room floor plan, modern appliances, washer/dryer, spacious deck and long driveway. It is located 10 minutes away from the Airport with easy access to the French Quarters and surrounding attractions. Come enjoy the natural beauty of the Bayou and the culinary genius of the Creole cuisine.

It was a comfortable home. The snacks and coffee that the host had to welcome us were a nice touch. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was a quick drive into New Orleans, but a quiet place to stay at the end of the day. Just what we were looking for.

Perfect family weekend

The river cottage was close to family we were visiting in Destrehan. 4 of us stayed including my infant nephew. Check in info was provided early the day of our arrival and was so easy. There was everything you could need including snacks, laundry and a pack’n play for my nephew. The place is so put together and just adorable. The beds were so comfortable! Would definitely stay again!

Pet-friendly, thoughtful host

Safe, quiet, clean location on the levee away from the hustle of New Orleans yet still conveniently close to attractions, stores, etc. Walter goes above and beyond for pet guests. Wonderfully responsive and hospitable host!

Beautiful cottage w/surprising space and charm

Booked for short visit to NOLA. Couldn't have been better. Host was very responsive. Decor was fresh and fun. Surprise was the amount of space inside. Will definitely book again next time we visit. P.S Coffee was greatly appreciated

Incredible Gem of a Home!

My family was in town for the JDM Visionary conference and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The home is clean, quiet, and cozy. It was the perfect place to relax during services and quiet at night. Walter was a great host and very responsive to messages. We will definitely be staying again the next time we are in town!

Very accommodating!

The hosts were fabulous, easy communication, very well appointed property and they even loaded the kids up with activity books and treats for the stay. If you’re looking for a safe space out of the city to stay at while you’re visit New Orleans, this is the place!

Great for pets! Beautiful home in quiet area near NO

Solo travelling with 3 small dogs from FL to Mexico and so grateful to have found this VRBO. Though I was frustrated by some glitches with the VRBO system, the house and host were fantastic. The price was high but that's because it was more house than I actually needed but the best fit I could find for my needs. It is definitely worth it if you have more people staying!
