Suited our needs for our trips to Bayeux and D D Beaches. It was equipped with everything we needed. Lovely rural location. Lilianne was hospitable and welcoming.

Nice quiet location. In beautiful countryside 10 minute drive to Bayeux. Clean, neat suite with all the utensils for cooking if you wish. No stores nearby so stock up before you leave town.

Logement au calme avec des hôtes sympathiques et à proximité des plages du débarquement.

Nous avon été chaleureusement accueillis, le logement est un petit nid douillet. Il est proche de Bayeux et permet d’accéder à de nombreux sites du débarquement.

Endroit calme et central par rapport aux plages de débarquement

Gîte situé au calme, attenant avec la ferme des propriétaires. Elevage de vaches, donc inévitablement beaucoup de mouches, accentué par le fait que lors des jours chauds, il fallait ouvrir les velux pour avoir de l'air car la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Ce n'est cependant pas un problème en soi, car on y reste en principe pas pendant la journée. Les propriétaires sont tres accueillants et arrangeants. Bonne expérience dans l'ensemble.

Our stay in St-Paul-Du-Vernay

Very good property with everything that we needed for our 5 night stay close to hand. Property was clean and well equipped. Lilianna made us feel very welcome upon arrival. We definitely needed a car to get about in the local area. Area was very quiet and peaceful.

Wer das Landleben liebt und sich auch nicht vor dessen Gerüchen scheut ist hier gut aufgehoben Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und bemüht. Wir waren in einer Arbeitsreichen dort.. somit war es häufig laut ( Landmaschinen die bis tief in die Nacht fuhren...Generatoren fürs melken usw) . Das Studio ist recht nett wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche hat...eben Bauernhofflair. Mit dem Auto ist alles gut zu erreichen und man kann viel unternehmen.

Quiet and relaxing location

Spent a lovely week here. The apartment is in a quiet Location, lovely and relaxing but only a short drive to Bayeux and many other interesting places. Lilian is a lovely host who was very accommodating with our late arrival and early departure times.

Una vacanza in Normandia

Il nostro soggiorno a Trungy è stato davvero piacevole. Il monolocale è confortevole e ben disposto nell'arredamento; dotato di tutto il necessario. Madame Liliane è simpatica e disponibile. Inoltre ci ha fatto visitare la fattoria della sua famiglia dove ci sono molti capi di bestiame. La zona è tranquilla ma nello stesso tempo molto comoda, vicina a Bajeux e alle spiagge dello sbarco.

Loved our stay here. Very clean and comfortable.

Lilian was easy to communicate with by email. She responded quickly and it was the best way to get around our language barrier. The apartment is well equipped to cook meals. The bedding is very comfortable. It is close to Bayeux and the D-Day sites. We enjoyed walks on the country roads. Would stay here again.

Perfect country home for exploring Normandie

We loved everything about this tidy, comfortable, spacious apartment in the French countryside. Every detail and decoration in the apartment was perfectly thought out. We felt right at home. The bed was comfortable. We were able to do a good deal of cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. Liliane was an incredibly gracious and accommodating host. She met us upon arrival and not only showed us the (easy) workings of the apartment (stove, window shades, etc.), but also gave us local maps and helped us locate easy driving routes to our various destinations (Bayeux - 10 minutes, D-Day Beaches - 20 minutes, Mont St. Michel - about an hour and a half; all worthwhile trips!!!). The apartment is part of the larger (lovely) house, but has its own private entrance to the outdoors and feels very much like a stand-alone place. There is one flight of stairs to reach the apartment. The apartment's floor plan is open, with vaulted ceilings over a comfortable sitting area and eat-in kitchen, plus adjoining sleeping area, and a separate WC and bathroom. Everything is very clean. The apartment is light and airy; a ceiling fan keeps the air moving even on warm days (there is also an AC unit, which we did not use). Skylights open to let in fresh air, birdsong, and views of the beautiful farm fields surrounding the house. There is plenty of space for parking. We really appreciated all the effort and care that went into making our stay pleasant and comfortable. We rent apartments frequently with HomeAway when we travel, and this has been one of the very best.

Convenient property to the Normandy landing sites and Bayeux

This apartment was clean and in a charming setting- a dairy farm, quiet and serene. While it was spacious for a studio it had a few quirky issues. The toilet is in a separate "closet like room" at the top of the stairs just before you enter the unit. It made for an interesting hunt in the middle of the night. There isn't really a shower, just a hand held shower wand. This made for a very difficult time to shower. While the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cutlery etc, there were none of the basic condiments that are usually found in these rental units. Finally, even though the bed was spacious, it was a very uncomfortable mattress. This place could have been a five star unit with a like extra effort and a few changes.
