"Interactions with the owners was easy and we gots lots of information, both before and when we there there. It's a gorgeous, tranquil spot, very central for exploring Hadrian's Wall. The pod was clean with everything you might need, and very comfortable beds. We loved the little outdoor area with fire pit too. Our first glamping experience and we would highly recommend.with a prfirepit"

"We had a lovely weekend at Ashlea. The cottage is well equiped & feels like a real home - very peaceful, great views & easy reach if Barnard Castle. Great walks from the doorstep. We were made so welcome by Ann, (loved the fresh baked bread & flowers). We will stay here again."

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business.
Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...
