We recently stayed at this property and while the location was great and the beds were comfortable, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing. Upon arrival, we noticed visible mold around the crown molding, likely from a roof issue. The air vents throughout the house were concerning—several did not fit securely, one in the kitchen walkway was held down with duct tape, and my 1-year-old’s finger even got caught under a loose vent. Outside, my husband slipped and fell down the front steps twice. The bathtub was missing a proper stopper, forcing us to improvise when bathing our kids.When we arrived, there was also a golf cart left by a previous renter that had apparently been there for weeks. The property manager was unaware of it and did nothing to have it removed. Communication was poor overall—I had to reach out the day of check-in just to get access information, and she was ultimately useless in being proactive. When we booked in August 2024, the listing included a golf cart. After the property was sold in 2025, that amenity was removed without notice. We only discovered this ourselves and had to rent one separately, which added 400 to our stay—money that could have gone toward a larger rental with a golf cart, but since we weren’t notified, we couldn’t make the best decision for our family.While the house has potential, the safety issues, poor maintenance, and lack of communication made this a frustrating experience, especially with small children.
