8 Davis Love - Larger Living Area Than Most

**This property offers club cards for access to Fripp Island Resort amenities, a new 12.8% of the total rent Resort Fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual club cards if you decide you would like to use the Resort Facilities. This fee is based off of the base rental rate.**

8 Davis Love, with its upscale features, well thought out floor plan, and quality furnishing is one the best Davis Love Cottages on a rental program. The layout provides upgraded features not present in other four-bedroom cottage plans. 8 Davis Love is on a larger lot than other cottages and offers more privacy.

The main floor is accessed through an oversized screened porch. The porch has two tables with seating for four people each, plus four rocking chairs.

The main living area consists of an open concept kitchen, breakfast area, dining and family room which is well suited for more people than other Davis Love Cottages. This area has seating at the bar, breakfast table and dining table. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of serving pieces, cookware and most small appliances. The family room has a large Smart TV, with cable and/or streaming service, as do all four bedrooms.

Also on the main floor are full size, front load, high efficient washer and dryer (uses HP detergent only). For 2022, the interior of the home has been painted and new furniture in some of the rooms.

Bedroom 1 and 2 both have private, attached baths, one with a shower/tub combination and one with a shower. Both bedrooms have two queen beds. There is a large deck that can be accessed from either bedroom.

Bedroom 3 and the Primary Bedroom (4) are upstairs. The primary bedroom has a king bed and private balcony. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and a set of full size bunk beds. Both bedrooms have a private, attached vanity area with mirrors, sink and commode. There is a large Jack and Jill luxury shower shared by bedrooms 3 and 4 that is accessed through either of the two private vanity areas.

The Fripp Island Club is private and each unaccompanied guest 13 and older must have an amenity card to access the Club’s facilities. The amenity card is a temporary membership to the club. Guests must comply with all rules and regulations of the Club.

**Amenity cards are available for purchase when renting this home. You may purchase up to the amount that the property sleeps.

We See’um Rentals Too, LLC manages 25 plus properties. If you inquire about a property & the property is booked for the dates you prefer, we hope we can direct you to another property that will be as good or better for your needs. We like the personal help we can provide our guests when we can speak in person.
Weeklong Stays only - Saturday to Saturday - During Peak Season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Calendar will show the beginning Saturday that the property is available during that time.

We loved staying in this home! We had 2 families that comfortably fit and enjoyed the open concept downstairs, along with the screened porch. It was a short golf cart ride to the beach, marina, pools, and right by one of the golf courses. Only concern was that both of the downstairs bedrooms’ double doors had a gap so there wasn’t complete privacy when the doors were closed. The manager, BJ, was great and so fast to answer questions and take care of things. We would definitely stay here again. ☺️

We stayed at this beautiful 4 bedroom home to celebrate a family event…our son graduated from the Marines! We were able to all stay together and be a family as we enjoyed the natural surroundings. Our grandchildren got to walk on the beach, collect gorgeous shells and feed the deer that live on the island! We had a wonderful time!

We have been coming to Fripp for 27 years with all our family renting properties and some of us always stay together. This year our daughter and her family with 6 kids stayed with us. The home at 8 Davis Love was perfect! They took the upstairs and we took the downstairs. Common areas are large and inviting, allowing us to share meals and cooking with ease. The large screened porch was a huge plus! The home is well stocked and furnished. Highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful property in a great location on the Island. Property is private but close to everything golf,pools, beach, marina. We had family from 12 to 54 and all agreed one of the best houses we have stayed at on the Island after 14 trips!

We booked the house for Christmas getaway, but ran into the worst cold wave in 40 years. Imagine 20F on Fripp island.... The house cannot be warmed up that quickly because of the extreme cold weather, we had to contact BJ for help on Christmas Eve. He responded quickly and brought us more than enough space heaters within an hour. We feel bad that he had to skip a Christmas party for us. The house is spacious, in great shape with upgraded appliances. I highly recommend this unit for anybody looking for a relaxing vacation on Fripp island. BJ is someone you can rely on.

We had a wonderful overdue ladies weekend and truly enjoyed the space, especially the screened porch. Thanks for a great escape! *Only two complaints - the mattresses in the downstairs rooms were pretty uncomfortable. We also rented a golf cart from the same company, and it looked like it had not been cleaned since the last use, was extremely difficult to steer, and it took the gas pedal a couple of “flooring pushes” to get the thing going. In renter’s defense, we did not report these due to the fact we were only there for the weekend. Great stay either way!

We had a couple of minor issues but I called the property manager and he responded immediately each time. Great vacation and the house is convenient to everything including the natural wildlife. This was the first family vacation we have taken in years including my 82 year old mother and our 2 year old grandson. Everyone had a great time. Great memories were made.

I put up my in laws in the home and there family and recieved nothing but praise! They loved the screened porch and the proximity to the beach as well as all the wildlife nearby. House was furnished with everything needed and was a joy to stay in for them all.

We had so much fun, as usual, vacationing in Fripp. We were very comfortable with our house, found everything that we needed, and communication with the rental company was top notch. Would definitely recommend this house!

House was clean and ready for us on day 1. We had lots of space in the house for the 4 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked most of our meals. House is close to the ocean, the Nature Center and the Marina.

We had the best week and weather! There were a few bumps that could be addressed and would make the stay even better. The main issue was the bath towels. They were basically oversized hand towels. You could literally see through them. There isn’t a hose, which made rinsing off toys, bikes, ect impossible. The house gets very hot. We went in Nov so it was manageable, but I couldn’t imagine it in the summer. The thermostat was hard to control so we had to deal with it. It would be nice if the amenity cards were included, especially this time of year. We spent an extra $300 on them and no one even asked to see them. I realize that is more of an issue with the island, but that is a steep charge for something we didn’t need. The home is well stocked in the kitchen. We cooked thanksgiving dinner and it was great. The beds are all big so it makes coming with family much easier. The trash cans need to have locks on them. The raccoons had a feast each night and made a huge mess. I don’t want to see the island littered, but I also don’t want to pick up trash from the yard each morning. I wasn’t expecting Davis Love to be so busy, especially in Nov. it’s across the street from an island work area and gets lots of traffic and noise. The kids wanted to ride bikes and it was impossible to stay out of the way. The island really needs to address speeding, even with the golf carts. I’d stay here again, just probably in the off season. It’s a really good location to the Beach Club and Cabana club!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Davis Love #8 at Fripp !! It is a beautiful house in a perfect location! The only thing we would like to have had is newer pans to cook in - especially with not eating out right now, so we cooked every night. But it was a lovely stay in a wonderful house!!

Loved the screened in back porch and house was perfect for our family. A short walk, bike ride, or golf cart ride away from beach, pool, and tennis courts. Loved the market shops too. Lots of wildlife, be careful not to leave things or food out, deer tried to eat our cornhole bags and raccoons got into a bag of food we left outside on golf cart. Great week overall!

Great home and a very relaxing week. I so enjoy the porch sounds early morning and night! Very well stocked kitchen! Nice, clean and roomy home. Had a couple of hiccups but nothing that would put a damper on our week. If there would be any recommendations, it would be that the mattresses need to be updated.
