If it is not cloudy, the photos on the hotel's website of the matterhorn are real! The spa was a nice touch. We probably spent more time there than hiking in the mountains. "The hotel is about 10' walk from the train station. The hotel picked us up at the front of the train station. Our room is big and faces the Matterhorn, allowing us to view the Red Mountain in the early morning from our deck and window. One thing you should know is that the "first floor" is about 30 stairs above the ground level and you have to walk up and down. But the hotel staff will help to carry your luggage up to your room and take it down when you leave. We enjoy our time in this hotel. "
