"Everything was perfect during our 2 night stay from Nov 7-9. We went during low season and got upgraded, so we got a balcony with Matterhorn views and a mini bar with a fridge, plates, eating utensils, glasses, kettle and a Nespresso machine…came in handy since only one restaurant was open during our stay. "This property is wonderful! Staff is wonderful! No air conditioning in summer. Directions from Expedia from train station to the hotel is NOT correct if you plan on walking from train station to hotel. "This was easily the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! We left our luggage pre check in so that we could explore Zermatt, and by the time we got back our room was ready (before the checkin time) and our luggage had already been delivered to our room. We loved the use of real keys instead of key cards, it sounds silly but it was a really fun touch to the whole experience.
