Our beautiful apartment has just had a very modern make over. (Bedroom 1) with double bed, Bed Side Cabinet, reading lights ,1 door wardrobe, mirror, hair dryer and travel cot. (Bedroom 2) with twin beds, bedside cabinets and reading lights. (Bathroom) tiled with electric shower, toilet and hand basin. (Kitchen) Modern and fully equipped with dishwasher, oven with grill and ceramic hob, microwave, Toaster, Kettle, coffee machine, washing machine, fridge/freezer and High Chair. (Dining room) white gloss 6 seater table with 6 chairs. (Decking Area from Kitchen) With Picnic Bench. (Lounge) with two sofas one with a bed, TV, DVD Player , Patio doors leading on to the balcony and 2 chairs and a small table. (Upstairs toilet). Towels and linen are provided, please bring beach towels, property cleaned and linen changed weekly. you also have free Wifi.
If you arrive before 6pm we meet and take you and your luggage over the sandy beach to your apartment, If you arrive after 6pm we leave the key in a key safe out side the apartment.



Sandunes apartments have been graded 4 star by visitEngland. Situated on the sandy beach of Camber, from your first floor windows you can look across the bay of Rye and see the cliffs of Fairlight or some of many fishing boats leaving or returning to Rye harbour.

What a wonderful time we have just had at Sandunes 2. The property had everything you will need to have a comfortable stay. The location is superb! The welcome basket is a delightful extra. We cannot wait to stay again soon.

Exactly what we needed. An apartment right on the beach for a weekend break of sandcastles and dog walks with two small children. It's modern and clean and fits a family of four well. The staff at the cafe/bar are welcoming and kind. We will definitely go back again.

Had a brilliant long weekend at Sandunes 2, lovely flat direct on the beach! Very clean and had everything we needed. Communication with Emma was great and thanks so much for sorting the parking permit! Would definitely come again!

Fabulous

Lovely, modern, warm, nice decor, comfortable apartment. Had everything you could want. Fabulous location right on the gorgeous sandy beach. Would certainly recommend and we will return asap. Really good cafe underneath. Great food and very friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Wonderful location

The house is amazing and situated so close to the beach, it is fully equipped (except a tea towel) and our stay was so relaxing. Will definately be returning.

An Annual Treat

Each year we book a long weekend in early July to celebrate our anniversary. Weather the weather is good or bad the location is magical. The apartment is perfect, to be on the beach is such a treat, the staff are lovely, everything you need has been thought of. I would recommend for anyone wanting a moment away from the real world!

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage

Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Absolute Ruhe morgens und abends. Unter der Woche auch tagsüber relativ wenig los (Mitte August). Die Wohnung an sich ist recht gemütlich und ordentlich Könnte speziell in der Küche etwas sauberer sein. Für 4 Erwachsene ist die Wohnung perfekt

Mini family break

Overall very good. A couple of small improvements would have helped a lot. The shower does not drain very well and overflows, there were only two part used toilet rolls in the apartment. There was no washing up liquid. There is a dishwasher but we were only left one dishwasher tablet for our 3 night stay. Also, this is advertised to sleep 6 people. The camp bed in the living room is not very good at all. Luckily there were only 5 of us so 4 of us had a bed, and the fifth just slept on the sofa.

Last minute booking

Weather forecast was great so last minute booking. What a gem of a place! Roll out of bed onto the beach! 3* for neighbourhood only because of drunk youths at night and the 5.30am wake up of the tractor and rake cleaning up after said youths and the idiots who leave their rubbish on the beach but DON’T let that minor inconvenience put you off because unless you’re loaded and can afford a house on the beach this is the next best thing. Comfortable accommodation even with 5 adults. Lots of places to eat and drink locally but also equipped well enough to self cater too.

Very disappointed

After two years of cancelled holidays we finally booked one we were looking forward to only to have a phone call the day before that we had been double booked. The host apologised and asked what we wanted to do but as we did not want to let the children down & was such short notice we agreed to go still. The host promised us a free dinner which we did not receive and we left a day early as we were too overcrowded. We were downsized from a two bedroom with three children aged 14 11 and 1 to a one bed which was completely too small for us all. Very sad that our holiday was ruined and we had to leave a day early as the children were too uncomfortable. I have contacted host about a courtesy stay but have had no response unfortunately so hope this does not happen to anyone else.
