"Orbit In is for anyone seeking a throwback to the mid century modern era. It is an older property with fairly basic amenities. Stayed in the Albert Frey room which had a fireplace, outdoor shower, and record player. Bed was comfortable. There is a cocktail hour by the pool. Staff was very nice. No breakfast included. There is a small hot tub and fire pit for winter nights. Great location and very walkable to most of downtown Palm Springs. "

"We had an amazing 5 night stay at Talavera Palm Springs. The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The housekeeping staff are incredibly professional and the grounds are like a Zen retreat. Amenities were excellent including coffee and cold drinks available night and day and well maintained bicycles to explore the surrounding neighborhoods. The property is on a quiet street but literally in the middle of the heart of Palm Springs. Our room was perfect...

"Such a beautiful and serene hotel. No big negatives other than the bathroom isn’t really a $260-a-night-type bathroom. It’s old and dated. Could use better shower heads. Also, the AC in our room wasn’t very cool. Other than that, wonderful place and stay and actually would stay again! Staff, although you don’t really see them, other than the cleaning lady who was super great, but they’re very responsive and friendly to work with. We look forward coming back! "

"The property is beautiful, really enjoyed the 24hr pool and spa. They also had a sauna open until 11pm. The breakfast bento boxes were phenomenal also the candy bar was great. Very clean property will definitely be back. 10 out of 10 best stay I’ve had in a while. "

"Everything is great, but nobody wants to make their bed just before you getting into it. you’re not saving the planet by not providing the top sheet unless you put it on yourself. Do you wash the duvet cover ? If not this practice is gross."
