"Beautiful garden and room. The room was a good size with a large, comfy bed, great shower and fresh milk for tea and coffee. We ate dinner there, having established that there were options for a vegetarian who was also coeliac. I had a vegan but not GF wellington, which was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent, with a coeliac-friendly omelette with GF toast. It was all delicious, so thank you Ellerby Inn! The website said EV charging was available. "Staithes is a beautiful village, although we were certainly lucky with the weather. The Inn was a great place to stay, with a tucked away car park at the rear. Nice big room and good bathroom. Great breakfast including kippers as an option. It is short walk down into the village where there are other eating and drinking options too and lovely walks and views. Steep back up though!"

"What a gorgeous little place this was to stay. Our room was big and spacious, with great bed and shower. It’s really well located and within walking distance to everything. You’re staying at a pub so expect some noise but it didn’t bother us at all. Great staff as well. We’ll be back!"

"Abundant and pleasant outdoor seating areas. Friendly staff. Very clean room with good facilites. Very comfortable bed and quiet surroundings gave a great sleep. Loved the decor and had a quiet relaxing break. Great meal and excellet food quality. Only minor downside was Wi Fi stopped working 24 hours after our arrival. Worked in the lounge and outside so was able to use it there. Saltburn beach, funicular railway and peir were good."

"It's a stunning location right on the beach, and it's a short walk over the headland or round the bay, to Robin Hood's Bay. Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room. Super cafe bar. Relaxing seaside decor It's a gem. "

"Lovely accomodations in pub with handy location. Room nice size, clean and friendly staff. It is above a pub so might need ear plugs if want total quiet. Also no one on site overnight and separate back door entrance after hours, which is now by an outdoor bar for summer. "
