"We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle.
The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling.
We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away

"We stayed for 2 nights, met on arrival by our friendly hosts. Room was as described, clean and comfortable, tea and coffee and bottled water also available. Bathroom was clean and shower great with plenty of hot water. Breakfast room was spotlessly clean, it is clear the hosts take a lot of pride. "I really liked this, used to live in Whitby so like coming home. The food is excellent apart from Trenchers which was down on last years although the service was good.
My bedroom was superb - beautifully done using all options there for you.

"As a single traveller I felt very safe and comfortable in this very conveniently located apartment. It’s quaint and had everything I needed a 2 night stay. Extra comfy bed. "Nutshell is a really lovely little place to stay, ideal for couples and close to the town. There was a bit of noise on Halloween but that’s to be expected in Whitby - the other two nights were very quiet.
