"Historic property so quite old fashioned. Room was a great size & very clean. Had good amenities albeit water pressure in shower was non existent & WiFi was poor. Good quality breakfast but full table service for cereals & juices was a bit weird. Great location for walking into Whitby and good parking. "

"The room was up to standard. The lock on the door was old and not fit for purpose, the carpet in the room was dirty and had stains on it .every floor creaked when walked on so you could hear people waking by most of the night. Also the bed was uncomfortable."

"Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. "We ended up staying one night of the three that we booked. This was primarily because the moment we arrived at the place we discovered the pets weren’t allowed anywhere beyond the ground floor and, if they were “well behaved” into the kitchen area. This accommodation can only be described as pet tolerant and not pet friendly."
