"Fire alarm went off twice early on the Sunday morning with heavy smoke caused by blocked chimney in the restaurant area - we decided to leave rather than stay for breakfast in a smoke filled room and was told we would receive a refund, but a refund was never provided."

When we quieried this the barman said they don’t have triple rooms with private bathrooms so I showed him the booking I made along with this room still being advertised. Had pancakes for breakfast 1st morning, beautiful crepes & hot runny syrup, ordered the 2nd day and got thick undercooked American pancakes with thick syrup, left unimpressed. "
