"Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation."

"The kitchen was not very well eqipped.....no glasses, only 1 dinner plate,however,very clean. The extra wide bed was supremely comfortable linen and towels were high quality, soft and comfortable. Very clean throughout. Food was well presented and delicious. We loved the combination of modern and rustic. The outdoor area well maintaned and very spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Prime location, close to Railway / buses, , restaurants and shopping and in the town centre. Great service. Had a perfect stay. Will be back next year. "

"Lovely room with tea & coffee making facilities & fridge. Nice comfy bed, spacious room & bathroom with toiletries. Friendly host & staff, very nice Thai eve meal & pleasant breakfast. Highly recommended."

"The bar is very small and closes early - we were exhausted so certainly wasn’t an issue for us and the restaurant was a decent size. Meal was good, great selection of drinks, room (spitfire) was clean and comfortable and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The young lady (owners daughter?) served us in the evening and the following morning very efficiently and competently so thankyou! Breakfast was included , very tasty and perfect size. First time staying here and I will stay again "

"Hotel was ideally located , very clean and welcoming hotel. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything you needed. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was superb ..really couldnt fault anything at rgis hotel ."
