"Clean rooms. Super room location. Mr Mohamed front of the house manager was very very cooperative and his reception team are fantastic at all the times. Housekeeping and restaurants were very nice. "Our suite wasn’t cleaned once during our stay, only once did someone try and we told them to come back but they didn’t.So no towels no water replenished.Also no breakfast included in our booking which was a surprise to us."

"Great ocean view and beautiful beaches surround. Location is near shops, restaurants & touristic destinations. Also accessible to Uber rides in and out no complications. You would find staffers are very attentive if you come here. Certainly Mustafa, Hisham, Abeer & Osama all communicate very well and good English speakers. Nothing has gone wrong in this short stay. I recommend. "

"Overall a great stay. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The only downside was some noise due to sports teams staying at the hotel, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience."

"The room was clean and comfortable. House keeping were so nice especially Suzanne. Reception was terrible, don’t have the basic of hospitality and how to be welcoming or of help with situations. In general, if you want to be around old down town and see the real Alexnadria, you can benefit from the location but rather than that, it is not the best place to enjoy a good, comfy and quiet stay. "Le Metropole is definitely the best hotel in Alexandria, and our best in Egypt. The minute you step in, you feel special. Loved the historical grandiose and the tentative service. "Staff hardly spoke English. Room was spacious and clean. The bathroom needed some upgrade. The shower had molds. The curtain had mold. The mirrors were very old to the point of faded away. No breakfast. No lobby. Check in area is like someone’s living room. Many pictures on hotels.com are misleading. But the location was good. Walkable to catacomb, coniche the citadel, st mark’s and Roman theater. "

"The fung shut of the rooms needs work, too much furniture happening. The floor was not clean, and some of the amenities need to be updated. Otherwise it was a lovely unique place to stay. "
