"Always a pleasure to stay at Sunley: modern and clean for a correct price. It was more than a year ago since my last stay and I noticed little things in the room started to show some wear and tear. I suggest this get tackled before it’s too late and goes downhill. It’s little thinks like a shower door that doesn’t close perfectly or a noisy bathroom fan. Nothing major, but better to deal with it before standards slip."

Even after my husband said I drove and I would fill in the vehicle info, he still asked him to enter the info and would only give him the keys. I felt like I wasn't there! "Great stay - will book again"

"Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey."

"Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The room was spotless and the amenities were excellent, including the well-stocked small fridge with food and snacks. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay, and unfortunately the small heater wasn’t quite enough to keep the room comfortably warm."

"I stayed at Columbia Hotel & Restaurant and overall had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel has a friendly, family-run feel and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, which really made a positive difference. "Safe in room was not working, reported to receptionist who stated that maintenance would fix the following morning. This did not happen, safe still not working 2nd evening. Tv in room had European language channels and lesser known English terrestrial channels, but none of the main channels such as BBC, ITV, Ch4 or Skynews. BBC news was however on the large screen in reception."
