  • 61 km north of Rovaniemi, river Raudanjoki 45 m, natural riverside, river is 35 m wide, no boat. Kulpakkokoski rapids 350 m away.

    Log cottage, built in 2006. Living room-kitchen with wooden sofa bed, 2 bedrooms both with 2 single beds, loft with 2 mattresses (loft is low and stairs steep), sauna with wood stove, shower in the steam room, separate toilet and large covered terrace on the river side.

    Fish smoking oven in shared use between three cottages. A reasonable amount of firewood is included in price; more firewood can be purchased from the caretaker 5 e/50 liter box.

Brilliant!

Loved staying here, really easy to get to and in a great location for everywhere we wanted to visit. Lovely cabin, very well appointed and gorgeous sitting on the deck watching the snow fall!

Un lieu magnifique, le logement est formidable au milieu d un paysage sublime. Le logement est tout équipé pour passer un agréable séjour. Literie extrêmement confortable, cuisine équipée avec tout le nécessaire pour se faire à manger. Le sauna est un plus très très agréable après une journée un peu fraîche. Propreté irréprochable. Un peu decus

Logement juste sur certains points: petit frigo pas de lave vaisselle et lave linge . Salle de bain minimaliste. " tres bien" est plus adapté comme.commentaire que " exceptionnel " nous avons pour.le.meme prix loué un autre logement au meme prix qui etaitui fabuleux

Lovely cottage for a winter's stay

Lovely cottage for a winter's stay. Warm and cozy, well equipped kitchen and a fantastic wood burning sauna. The cottage is much nicer inside than the photos show. In a quiet location. We didn't have a car and it was absolutely fine travelling there and back by bus from Rovaniemi although it did mean we had to carry all our food with us. Bedside tables or shelves in the bedroom would have been useful.

Lovely cottage and much nicer than the photos show. Quiet location. We didn't have a car and were able to travel to and from the cottage by bus from Rovaniemi but note that this does mean carrying all your food with you as there are no shops nearby. Well equipped cottage and a fantastic wood burning sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Winter Wonderland

This cabin is in a idyllic setting. It is easy to get to, but makes you feel like you are the only people within a hundred miles. The cabin is adorable and has everything you could possibly need for a long stay. I would recommend the cabin to everyone !!

fantastisch!!

we hebben een fantastische week gehad in dit heerlijke huisje. mooie locatie, stil, weg van alles, van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon, in onze beleving ideaal. een gave blokhut om te zien en erg ruim. de foto's op de site geven niet weer hoe groot en leuk. dus dan is de verrassing extra als je er aan komt. de beheerder is altijd bereikbaar en behulpzaam. we raden het iedereen aan!! we hebben heimwee!(1 - mintjes is dat er niet echt een comfortabele bank is)

Amazing house

Wonderful house like from a fairy tale! Be in a quiet and beautiful place. Around the forest, near the river and silence. Wonderful! The road is nearby but there is no noise from it. The entrance to the house is constantly cleared of snow, which is very comfortable The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen, fireplace and excellent sauna. For grilling outside is everything you need too. Good location if you want to visit Rovaniemi and Luosto.Thank you!

Schönes Haus in herrlicher Natur

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus aus Rundstämmen in herrlicher Natur, auch im Winter sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Raumaufteilung ist für ein Ferienhaus sehr gut geeignet, für mindestens vier Personen mit weiterer Schlafgelegenheit auf einen Schlafboden. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig einfach, alles was man braucht. Alles sauber und in gutem Zustand. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter, ... ..., war absolut in Ordnung.

Wat een heerlijk huis!

Echt een super huis, zoveel sfeer! Het is er lekker warm en gezellig. Het ligt aan het eind van een slingerend weggetje, bij ons lag er aan beide kanten een meter sneeuw. Zo mooi! ..., de beheerder is heel vriendelijk! De douche en sauna waren heerlijk. Op 1,5 km kun je de excursies doen die je wilt doen als je in Lapland bent. Ik vind het wel eerder een huis voor Max. 4 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Wij zouden zeker teruggaan!

Sehr gemütlich im Niergendwo

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen - mitten im Wald, mit eigener Sauna und komplett aus Holz gebaut. Wir waren unmittelbar nach der Weihnachtszeit da und die Atmosphäre hat im tiefen Schnee wunderbar gepasst. Jederzeit würden wir wiederkommen.

Confort authentique

Magnifique chalet construit avec de gros troncs d'arbres. Décoration authentique et sobre avec des touches modernes. Superbe sauna avec poêle à bois. Spacieux. Excellente localisation au milieu des bois et en bordure de la rivière où nous avons pu voir de magnifiques aurores boréales. Les 2 autres chalets sont à une distance suffisante pour ne voir et entendre personne. On est à 45 mn de Rovaniemi, 35 mn de Santa's Village. Proche des parcs naturels. Toutes les activités à 2 km à Korvala : huskies, raquettes, ski de fond et pêche sur glace. Nous avons trouvé le propriétaire adorable.
