The White Magnolia Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Completely remodeled 1890’s farmhouse located in Warrenton behind Zapp Hall. It is 4 miles from Round Top. Marburger Farm is only a mile and Junk Gypsy is 3 miles. It is walking distance to all of Warrenton. During the antique show you are next to all the great shopping.

The code was not set properly so we couldnt get into the house for an hour and a half. Could not get in touch with owner and then had to be on the phone with vrbo for 40 minutes as they were looking for another property for us to stay in because VRBO could not get a hold of them either. They called us back and apologized but it was a very stressful hour and a half left on the front porch. Location is great as it was right next to Zapps. If you are not a fan of concerts then I would check the schedule because you are about 100ft from where live music is being played until 10:30pm. We didnt mind, but if you have littles- youd probably want to know.Also the address does not take you to the house when you put it into Maps. The owner gave us crazy landmark directions which was also hard to determine as a huge show was going on blocking the “gas pumps” and “pole fencing” she used to try to help navigate your way.

This cottage is absolutely adorable! It was immaculate and well stocked. The living room furniture and mattresses were very comfortable. I will definitely reach out to rent again if I’m in the area. It’s close to restaurants and shopping so perfect for market days.

A lovely, quiet and spacious cottage with a nice sized kitchen and dining area; two spacious bedrooms and a good sized bathroom with a separate shower and soaking tub. Ideally located just 10 minutes from Round Top.

This was a last-minute getaway for us. The cottage was a great escape. The host provided amazing amenities. The cottage decor was very thoughtful. The location was quiet yet just five minutes from everything in Round Top. And the view of sunrise and mist on the pasture was a beautiful bonus!

Peaceful and lovely

Absolutely pleasant in every way, from the moment I walked in the door I felt at home the cottage was beautifully put together, clean, smelled lovely, and the beds were so cozy.Everything was also so thoughtfully stocked from the coffee along with all the different creamer to the bathroom with the higher quality lotions, body wash, shampoos and conditioners, they even have individual packs of toothpaste set out. The attention to detail is thorough to say the least.The next morning I enjoyed a cup a coffee on the front porch while taking in the beautiful scenery it was so lovely and peaceful my daughter and I look forward to booking a stay there again sometime soon in the future.
