One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had — Unsafe, Dirty, and Disrespectful
This was hands-down one of the worst hotels I’ve ever checked into — not just because of the condition of the property, but also the environment, the customer service, and the unsettling feeling of being unsafe as two women travelers.
From the moment we arrived, it felt sketchy. The surrounding area was dark, deserted, and gave off a very eerie vibe — like something out of a horror movie. There were no lights on when we pulled in, and we had to walk up to what looked like an old log cabin in complete darkness.
Inside, things got worse. The room smelled heavily of mold, the beds were clearly dirty, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting — completely unacceptable, especially for $238 a night. There wasno sense of cleanliness or comfort. It felt neglected and unsanitary.
When I expressed my concerns about the lack of lighting, safety, and the overall condition of the place, the hotel manager (Thai) responded with hostility. Instead of addressing our concerns, he got defensive and started yelling at us, dismissing how uncomfortable and unsafe we felt as two women alone in a strange, dimly lit location. His behavior was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional.
What made this even worse is that this hotel is located in what felt like a sundown town — and if you know, you know. That added an extra layer of fear and discomfort to an already terrible experience.
I would strongly advis
