"when I checked into my room at 5pm, all was fine. then I went into Ghent (lovely city) for the evening. when I got back a little after 11pm there was no power/lights in my room. and no staff to help! there was book on the desk in my room with hotel policies etc, but it was horribly outdated as it said to dial the front desk if one had any questions, but of course there are no longer any internal phones in the hotel. the next morning there was finally front desk staff, but they were incompetent...

"Het hotel heeft achterstallig onderhoud Het bed was goed en je kon zien dat de kamer wat opgeknapt was Maar de deuren klemden erg en waren gewoon kaal. De trap naar onze kamer was erg slecht verlicht, heel gevaarlijk vonden wij De receptie en bar waren vriendelijke mensen, maar het restaurant vonden wij erg duur."

"great parking, good location. quiet except when the soccer is playing but even then , with the windows closed, was able to sleep. great gym and spa although when the steam room worked, the sauna didnt and vice versa. biggest issue was the poor design of the lighting and bathroom . when using the toilet, the extractor fan and light automatically turned on. so impossible to use the toilet quietly in the middle of the night. additionally there was no door to the shower area / bathroom so no...

"Schönes Zimmer & sehr gutes Frühstück."

"Excellent"

"Non segnalata sulla strada. Difficile da trovare. Molto bella la struttura. Non trovo corretto dover pagare il parcheggio poiché è un piazzale all’aperto senza custodia"

"Had a great stay with our Grand Kids. Had the large room for 5 people with plenty of space. Enjoyed the pool usage. Easy walking distance to the town center for us. Staff were exceptional to deal with."

"Good Hotel"

"Such a lovely place to stay. The apartment was in a building connected to the main mansion, so make sure to follow the directions that are sent to you about finding it if yours is there as well. Perfectly decorated, very comfortable room. The main mansion, it was so lonely and authentically historic. The owner and the operator is on call when she is not there. Do not hesitate to call her. She gave me a wonderful tour of the grounds, including the hunting lodge and hothouse."

"DO NOT STAY HERE - COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING! The "Deluxe" Double Room does not have its own bathroom - this fact is not shown in the headline and is buried in the listing. I arrived at 9 pm to a dark house and was shown a room without a bathroom. I asked where it was and was told it was in the hall and was shared with another room. I was shocked but the woman showing me the room told me that the other room was not taken. I figured it was not that bad and acquiesced. However, at one in the...

"A remarkable building to stay in. Decor theme is carried throughout for an immersive experience. Cleaning staff was very helpful whenever we needed something. It’s a walk from the station so if you have large luggage, I’d recommend an Uber. University is nearby so there are lots of inexpensive food choices."

"Location was great, staff was nice"

"Nice place for a shop enroute. Close to motorway but no noise.the question one must ask is would I return. Most like yes. Only downside is no restaurant for evening meals. Miust contact via text but it works. Beds comfortable and a nice breakfast."

"Das Hotel hat den Charme leider verloren. Die Zimmer müssten renoviert werden. In unserem Bad hat es extrem nach Abfluss gerochen. Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich, was man für den Preis aber auch erwarten kann. Parken in der Garage für 20€ pro Nacht. Alles in allem passt für mich Preis/ Leistung nicht."

"Good hotel about 15 minute walk from centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good breakfast option. Bathroom a bit on the small side."
